Yerin Ha is pondering a trip to a different cottage.
The Bridgerton star is excited to work on another passionate show called Heated Rivalry.
During the 2026 Actor Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, host Keltie Knight jokingly suggested to Yerin on Live From TopMob that a crossover between Bridgerton and Heated Rivalry would be amazing. She said it would be so popular, ‘it would just explode our televisions!’
Yerin, looking beautiful in a black and white Balenciaga outfit, enthusiastically agreed, saying, “We have separate cottages, so we can each go to a different one.” (You can see all the red carpet fashion here.)
The cottages are important settings in both shows. In Heated Rivalry, Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) visit one, and Sophie (Yerin) and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) begin a romance at another.
Honestly, Keltie summed it up perfectly – she said it would be like ‘a corset in a cottage’! She and Yerin and I just feel like we have to be the ones calling all the shots, overseeing everything. We’re so excited to take the lead!
Although a potential romance like those seen in Bridgerton isn’t happening right now, Yerin is currently enjoying the latest season of the Netflix series, with the second part of season four released on February 26th. Despite being tired from her travels, the 28-year-old was excited to attend the awards ceremony, where she will serve as an Actor Awards Ambassador.
She told TopMob she was thrilled and humbled to be among so many talented actors. She added that opportunities like this don’t come along often, making the experience especially exciting.
Yerin has been open about the downsides of filming the popular show Bridgerton, explaining that she developed folliculitis – a skin condition causing inflammation of the hair follicles – during production.
She shared that while filming, she covered herself in baby powder hoping it would help her skin before putting on a tight-fitting outfit secured with tape. Unfortunately, the next day she broke out in hives and developed a skin infection, requiring steroid cream to treat it.
“I feel responsible,” she continued, “because I believe the baby powder mixed with the bathwater caused the problem.”
While filming a scene that required them to be underwater in a bathtub for about seven hours, Yerin jokingly said she was particularly sensitive, unlike Luke who didn’t have the same reaction after the shoot.
