Minecraft players can now experience the world of Stranger Things thanks to a new DLC released in the Minecraft Marketplace. The timing coincides with the premiere of the final season of the popular Netflix series.
Plus, if you purchase it before January 25th, 2026, you’ll receive a free Hellfire Club t-shirt item for customizing your character.
I’ve always struggled to understand the appeal of Minecraft, honestly. But I’ve really enjoyed playing some of its add-on content with my son, especially the one based on the Godzilla movies. Since I’m a big fan of Stranger Things, I’m excited to get this new DLC.
Netflix’s *Stranger Things* offers a new, exciting adventure with each season. The show throws you back to the 1980s, letting you relive a carefree childhood filled with walkie-talkies, arcades, and classic treats. Then, join the group as they uncover the creepy mysteries happening in their town.

Good news for anyone who wants to avoid spoilers: the new Stranger Things content appears to cover only the show’s first four seasons.
This includes the Mind Flayer, the portal from Season 2, Starcourt Mall, Vecna, and, naturally, the Upside Down.
Everything is recreated using Minecraft’s iconic blocky look. Based on the screenshots, blocky Murray is already a standout – and who doesn’t love Murray?!
The Stranger Things content pack is available for Minecraft on most devices, but it needs a lot of processing power. Specifically, you’ll need at least 6GB of RAM to run it, which means it’s not compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
The next Nintendo Switch should run games well if it has more RAM. Currently, though, it hasn’t been released yet. If you’re playing on a phone or tablet, make sure it has at least 6GB of RAM for a good experience.
You can now download the Stranger Things content for Minecraft from the Minecraft Marketplace, perfect timing with the Season 5 finale coming up!
