My Hero Academia Announces Free Episodes Marathon for 2026

I noticed that My Hero Academia is doing something special before the anime ends – they’re releasing a free marathon of the first three seasons! TOHO Animation is calling it the “My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary: Free Binge Marathon — Early Seasons (1–3).” They’ve announced when each season will be available to stream. Over the next few months, you’ll be able to watch episodes 1 through 63 with subtitles in seven languages: English, French, Spanish (both Latin American and from Spain), German, Portuguese, and Italian.
This is a great chance to start watching My Hero Academia – the free marathon won’t last forever! Here’s the schedule:
- Season 1 (Episodes 1–13) April 3, 2026, 5:00 AM PT – May 3, 2026, 7:59 AM PT
- Season 2 (Episodes 14–26) April 30, 2026, 8:00 AM PT – May 31, 2026, 7:59 AM PT

What to Know for My Hero Academia’s Real Finale
The newest episode of My Hero Academia (Episode 170+1) will premiere in Japan on May 2nd at 5:30 PM JST. Fans in the United States and other select countries can watch it on Crunchyroll at the same time. This special episode jumps forward eight years after the battle with All For One and Tomura Shigaraki, showing what life looks like for Izuku Midoriya and the rest of Class 1-A, building on hints from the show’s finale.
This special episode, called “More,” is based on chapter 431 of the original My Hero Academia manga. Interestingly, this chapter wasn’t part of the regular Shonen Jump magazine run. Instead, it was an extra epilogue the author, Kohei Horikoshi, created when the final manga volume came out, offering a more detailed look at what happened after the main story ended. If you enjoyed the time skip in the final episode and wished you could see more of that period, you’ll definitely want to check this out.
