As a huge 007 fan, I was so excited to see IO Interactive finally show off some gameplay of Project 007 running on a PS5 Pro! They just dropped a new video of that amazing airport scene we saw during last year’s State of Play, and it looks incredible. The best part? It’s running at a super smooth 60 frames per second! You can check it out on their social media – definitely worth a watch if you’re as hyped about this game as I am.
So, the team just let us know that when the base PS5 finally comes out on May 27th, 2026, it’ll have two different graphics modes you can choose from! They haven’t told us exactly what resolutions those modes will be yet, but it’s still exciting to hear there will be options!

- 30 frames-per-second
While a high-end gaming PC will likely offer better performance in 007 First Light than a PS5 Pro, the PS5 Pro is still the best choice if you prefer the simplicity of a console experience – and it will deliver excellent performance in almost any game you play.
