Unsettling Japanese horror, the awkwardly named UN:Me, will launch on the PS5 later this year.
Originally, the game was only going to be released on PC. Now, Tokyo-based developer historia is also bringing it to PlayStation, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
The release puts you in control of a young girl who’s harbouring multiple souls within her body.
Through conversation and by understanding what’s going on inside her head, you must figure out each personality and decide who will ultimately remain.
As the press release points out: “One body can harbor only one soul.”
The new trailer is definitely captivating, and some of the imagery is strangely unsettling – it reminds me a little of the music video for Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’.
Look, there are tons of scary psychological horror games on the PS5 – I really loved Silent Hill F last year – but this one just feels different. It’s got something special, a certain… vibe, that I think will make it stand out.
It’s one to keep an eye on.
