Ninja Gaiden 4 is launching on PS5 this week, and the full list of Trophies you can earn in the game is now available to view on PlayStation’s network.
Knowing this game series is notoriously difficult, we checked to see just how challenging it would be to achieve a perfect playthrough – and it looks like it’s going to be tough. Though, perhaps not *completely* impossible.
Actually, the trophies aren’t as hard to get as we initially expected, but earning the Platinum Trophy will still require a lot of skill and effort.
There are 45 Trophies in all: 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 5 Silver, and 36 Bronze.
Most of the achievements are unlocked by playing through the game’s story, and you’ll likely earn several rewards for winning battles. Overall, the achievement list seems pretty simple to complete.
As with other Ninja Gaiden games, you’ll earn a few Gold and Silver Trophies by completing the game’s hardest challenges.
So, to truly *finish* this game, you need to do everything – win on Master Ninja difficulty, which is super hard, and then tackle all the Purgatory Trials. Honestly, it’s a real challenge, but I’m going to give it my best shot! Wish me luck!
The game also features a few Trophies that challenge you to avoid all environmental dangers in four different levels. You’ll have to do this manually, though—the ‘Auto Movement’ feature, which makes the game easier, won’t work for these challenges.
It’s not surprising that Ninja Gaiden has a good trophy completion rate. The game appeals to a dedicated fanbase already, and we expect those committed players quickly mastered everything the combat system has to offer.
