‘You’ve Got to Be Joking’: Street Fighter 6 Fans Rage at Slow Rollout of Skins

We’ll say one thing about Street Fighter 6’s skins: they always look awesome.

Many fans are still disappointed with the pace of new content being released for the game. For example, new outfits for Elena and DeeJay won’t be available until March 17th.

So, these new outfits are continuing the swimsuit theme we’ve been seeing for a while now. It’s a little frustrating though, because some characters still don’t have many options – only two outfits to pick from, which feels kinda limited.

One fan expressed frustration on X (formerly Twitter) about the time it took to receive two pairs of shorts, jokingly telling Capcom to “slow down.” They noted the six-month wait.

Someone else pointed out that considering how long it’s been since the last major update, it’s taken a surprisingly long time for all the characters to receive new outfits.

All eighteen of the original characters got their third outfits way back on December 1st, 2023 – that was over two years ago!

Both Elena and DeeJay look fantastic! We especially love Elena’s swimsuit paired with her denim shorts, and the glimpse of DeeJay’s swim trunks under his shorts.

At the current pace, we might see Street Fighter 7 released before all the characters even get their fifth outfit. While it’s clear a lot of effort is put into each costume, the updates are coming out rather slowly.
