Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Revival launches December 18 in Japan alongside Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku ensemble Re:R

The friendship-building game titled “Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Revival” is set to release for Nintendo Switch on December 18 in Japan, coinciding with the announcement of “Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku ensemble Re:R“. This information has been shared by publishers TAITO and developers VRIDGE.

The remake of “Fantasy Universe Orchestra” will cost 9,680 yen and can be purchased either physically or digitally. For those who prefer a special edition, it’s available for 21,780 yen. This premium version comes with the game itself, artwork by illustrator moo on the box cover, a download code for “Fantasy Universe Orchestra ensemble Re:R”, a reprint of the original soundtrack CD, a reprint of the drama CD, an art book from “Fantasy Universe Orchestra”, an acrylic stand, and a clear bookmark set.

For those who don’t buy the special edition of Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Revival, you can acquire Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku ensemble Re:R individually as a digital-only purchase for 4,180 yen. The title itself suggests that Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku ensemble Re:R is an enhanced version of the fan disc Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku ensemble from 1998, offering improved graphics and visuals.

Individuals who reserve any edition of “Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Revival” through Amazon Japan between July 11 and July 14 will be granted a code to download the Nintendo Switch version of the original “Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku” as an exclusive bonus for “Amazon Prime Day”.

More information on the game’s various editions are available via the official website.
