Zendaya’s Mom Reacts to Tom Holland Wedding Confession From Law Roach

Zendaya’s mom seems to be euphoric about her daughter’s private wedding to Tom Holland.

Following claims by stylist Law Roach that actress Sydney Sweeney had secretly gotten married, her mother, Claire Stoermer, responded to the rumors.

Claire shared a clip of Law’s red carpet interview from the Actor Awards (March 1st) where he jokingly mentioned that Zendaya and Tom Holland are already married. She then playfully responded to the stylist’s comment on her Instagram Story with a laughing emoji.

She also cryptically wrote, “The laugh….”

Lawrence’s recent comments have sparked a lot of excitement among fans, leading many to believe she and her partner may have secretly gotten married. This isn’t too surprising, though, as the two actors have generally kept their relationship private since they started dating in 2021.

Tom, 29, told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023 that he and his partner are very private about their relationship and want to keep it special. He explained that they don’t feel any obligation to share details with the public, as it’s a personal matter between them.

Law, 47, had hinted before that Zendaya, 29, might have a surprise wedding, suggesting she’d be a ‘secret bride’ when they finally got married.

According to Law, the project hasn’t begun yet because Zendaya is currently busy filming the next Dune movie and several other films. He indicated they have plenty of time before they can start, given her packed schedule. He told TopMob News this in July.

The fashion expert, while keeping some details private, shared their excitement about the couple’s wedding. They emphasized the deep and long-lasting love the pair share, and expressed how wonderful it is that the world has been able to witness their relationship.

It seems Zendaya may have hinted at her wedding before Law did. Two weeks prior to his comments, she was seen wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger.

The jewelry stood out compared to her engagement ring—a striking 5.02-carat cushion-cut diamond, designed by British jeweler Jessica McCormack.

No matter when they became a couple, Tom has always believed Zendaya was someone special and worth staying with.

The actor shared in a 2023 podcast interview that he feels fortunate to have Zendaya in his life. He explained that it’s unique and insightful to be in a relationship with someone who understands the same challenges and experiences he does, given their shared profession.

Zendaya and Tom Holland, engaged since December 2024, weren’t interested in rushing down the aisle.

When asked about Zendaya’s future plans in April 2025, her stylist, Law Roach, jokingly said she was taking a break until 2026, according to TopMob News.

A few months later, while at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, he updated fans on the project, saying they hadn’t even begun yet. He explained that Zendaya is currently busy filming the next Dune movie, and with her schedule full of other films, they have plenty of time before they can start.

There will likely be several dresses – one for the ceremony, another for the reception, and others for related wedding events. However, don’t be surprised if there’s also a beautiful pantsuit somewhere in the plans!

Law doesn’t think anyone will ever get a detailed look at how her wedding came together, or even see photos of her wedding dress.

Zendaya and Tom Holland are making a conscious effort to keep their relationship private. As fashion expert Tim Gunn shared on the Please Explain podcast, they won’t be having a big, public wedding announcement or photos in magazines like Vogue. They’ve asked anyone they invite to respect their privacy, meaning their wedding dress and the event itself will likely remain unseen by the public.

Zendaya often wears designs from a select group of her favorite brands, including Louis Vuitton (especially pieces by Nicolas Ghesquière), Michael Kors, Versace, Valentino, and Tom Ford.

If Tom Holland and Zendaya decide to get married, their wedding could be a very glamorous event with lots of famous guests.

Beyond her family – Zendaya has three half-sisters and two half-brothers through her father, and Tom has three younger brothers – the wedding guest list might include Zendaya’s friends like Timothée Chalamet, Bella Thorne, and Hunter Schafer. Tom is also good friends with Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned in the Spider-Man movies.

Timothée described his Dune costar as a sister figure, telling Variety in 2022 that he’s incredibly thankful for their close friendship and partnership.

The singer of “Slow It Down” immediately agreed to perform at the couple’s wedding when asked by TopMob News at the 2025 American Music Awards in May. He said he wouldn’t miss the opportunity.

And, really, will the marriage even be legal if the newlyweds don’t engage in a lip sync battle?

Zendaya might have hinted at an engagement when she started wearing a thin gold ring on her left ring finger.

She replaced her engagement ring with a simpler piece, which will likely look great alongside her 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by Jessica McCormack. The ring, according to McCormack’s website, features a vintage-inspired setting crafted from 18-karat white and yellow gold.

Tom had bought a ring, his father, comedian Dominic Holland, shared in a Patreon post in January 2025, confirming that he had proposed. He’d also asked her father for his blessing. Tom had thought of everything – the timing, location, what he’d say, and even what he’d wear.

Zendaya and Tom have plenty of options for where they could get married, but having the wedding in England, where Tom is from, would be a great choice.

In a 2021 interview with GQ, Zendaya described love as something deeply personal and meaningful, saying it’s an experience to be shared and cherished between two people who care for each other.
