Exciting news for fans of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies! ZA/UM, the creators of Disco Elysium, will release a playable demo of their new espionage RPG as part of Steam Next Fest in February 2026. This follows last year’s announcement about the game’s upcoming release.
In For Dead Spies, you play as Hershel Wilk, a former spy trying to rebuild her life after a fall from grace. She’s pulled into a dangerous world of international conflict, but the game is really about her personal struggle to regain her composure and reunite with her old team, despite a difficult past.
This game focuses on making tough choices and learning from mistakes, with consequences that extend beyond what you immediately see. It has the potential to be as memorable as the previous game in the series. A limited demo will be available on Steam from February 23rd to March 16th. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to release a demo for PlayStation 5.
I just watched the announcement trailer, and I’m really curious to see if the game’s cool art style and dark, futuristic world will grab me. It definitely looks interesting so far!
