A PlayStation 5 game that was previously only available on that console is now fully compatible with the Steam Deck – it’s officially “Steam Deck Verified.” Players have been able to play the game on the Steam Deck for a while, but recent updates have ensured full support. Many games labeled as “exclusive” these days, particularly from PlayStation and Xbox, are actually available on both consoles and PC.
Good news for Steam Deck owners! You can now fully enjoy Lost Soul Aside, the action-adventure RPG. The game is completely compatible with the Steam Deck, offering a smooth experience with both the handheld’s screen and controls, allowing you to play through the entire game.
About the Game
After a long wait and several delays, Lost Soul Aside launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive on August 29th. However, the game received mostly negative reviews, scoring between 55 and 62 on Metacritic. Critics found the story and writing weak, the game design repetitive, and the performance problematic. Despite these issues, some reviewers praised the combat system.
Unlike some games that get mixed reactions, Lost Soul Aside hasn’t been well-received by players. On Steam, it currently has a “Mixed” rating, with only 59% of over 1,200 user reviews being positive.
In the game, Kaser’s sister is captured by the Voidrax, invaders from another dimension. He must then undertake a perilous quest to rescue her and save humanity from this frightening new enemy.
Now that Lost Soul Aside is verified to work well on the Steam Deck, players can expect to spend roughly 18 to 25 hours finishing the main story, or around 30 hours if they aim to complete everything. The game is currently on sale on Steam for $40—a discount from its usual price of $60—but this offer won’t last forever, so you’ll need to purchase it to play.
