TekWars Had Something Special

It deserves a revival, and now is the perfect time.

This show had a lot of potential and a solid foundation, but it feels limited by the technology available when it was made. While shows like Star Trek, Stargate, and Farscape thrived in the 90s, TekWar would really shine with modern special effects, giving it a more realistic and intense feel. One fan commented, “I enjoy the cyberpunk setting. I usually prefer a darker, grittier aesthetic in cyberpunk, but this show’s cleaner look is refreshing and makes the world feel genuinely habitable. The series feels relevant today, and its blend of escapism and technology exploring how our minds are affected should attract a large audience. A multi-season run would address the inconsistencies in the initial attempt, creating a smoother, more complete story with well-developed characters and ongoing storylines. TekWar pioneered concepts that later became popular in other shows, games, and films, suggesting it could be successful again if revived.
