35 Big Games Still Coming Out For The Rest of 2026

I get so excited thinking about all the awesome games on the horizon! We all do it, right? And honestly, 2026 looks like a really good year for gaming – there are just so many titles I can’t wait to play.

There’s a lot to cover, and we think you’ll be as enthusiastic about most of it as we are. So, let’s begin!

1. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

We’re thrilled to revisit the Caribbean with Edward Kenway and experience his incredible transformation from a ruthless pirate into an honorable Assassin. The game features improved combat, additional story moments, and stunning graphics – all fantastic additions! It launches on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

2. EA Sports College Football 27

The College Football video game series has been successful lately, and we expect this year’s release to continue that trend. It’s shaping up to be a great game, with special bonuses available for players who pre-order. It will be available on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

3. Palworld 1.0 Release

The recently released trailer is visually stunning, revealing incredible new environments and creatures that players will discover throughout the game. This update promises to be the largest one yet, adding a wealth of exciting content as it leads us to the story’s conclusion on July 10, 2026. It will be available on all platforms.

4. Splatoon Raiders

We’re definitely excited about this game! It lets you join a band of pirate musicians who sail around the Spirhalite Islands searching for treasure. We got a great preview during yesterday’s presentation, and we can’t wait to try its unique paint-based weapons, rewarding progression, and especially the helpful Exploration Bot. It’s coming to Switch 2 on June 30th.

5. Halo: Campaign Evolved

We’re still excited about the incredible trailer revealing the new Covenant enemies, glimpses of the story’s beginnings in the prequel missions, and, of course, Master Chief’s return. The new weapons look fantastic, and we can’t wait to play the game when it launches on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5 on July 28th.

6. Beast of Reincarnation

We think any game is great when you get a cute animal companion! Combine that with challenging, skill-based combat similar to Souls games, plus awesome abilities for the main character Emma, and you have a recipe for a game we’ll be hooked on – even if it makes us frustrated. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on August 4th.

7. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

I’m really excited about this new game – it kicks off with an awesome lineup of Marvel heroes and promises a ton of action! I’m especially hyped for the Episode Mode, where you compete against this mysterious Champion in a tournament. It looks like we’ll really need to step up our game to win. Keep an eye out for it on PC or PS5 starting August 6th!

8. Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honour

It’s great to see a new expansion building on the beloved nostalgia that made this game so popular. It’s even more exciting that it explores Don Salieri’s backstory, showing us his life before the events that launched the entire series. The trailer was intriguing, though a bit short on specifics, but it did reveal the release date: August 14, 2026, on all platforms.

9. The Sinking City 2

Lovecraftian stories are known for being exciting and scary, and the creature in this game, called Slither, looks particularly dangerous – unless you’re playing as Calvin Rafferty! The Deep Ones and Shadows also seem like serious threats, and we can’t wait to see how they all play a role when the game releases on August 18th for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. You can even try out a demo on Steam now if you want a sneak peek.

10. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

We were disappointed to hear about the delay until August 13th, but we understand and appreciate Team 17 taking player feedback and their own testing seriously enough to request more time for polishing. We’re excited to see how this new version improves on the last one and introduces some fresh ideas.

11. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2

Longtime fans likely anticipated this announcement, and we’re thrilled to share it! We’re especially excited to revisit two classic games that really defined our love for the series. Seeing Solid Snake’s story conclude is a highlight, but Peace Walker is also fantastic – choosing between them when this collection releases on August 27th for PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 will be tough!

12. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Sophie was a compelling character in Requiem, and her story added depth to Amicia and Hugo’s journey. It makes sense that players are eager to learn about her past – specifically, her days as a determined young smuggler on Minotaur Island. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to experience it, as the game is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series on August 27, 2026.

13. Star Wars Zero Company

For any Star Wars enthusiast, the idea of a diverse team – a Jedi, a noble, a droid, and even a former Separatist – joining forces during the Clone Wars is incredibly exciting, and we’re definitely fans. The story also features Anakin Skywalker before his fall to the dark side, which adds another layer of intrigue. You can play it on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S starting August 27th.

14. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition

I’ve been waiting forever for this! It’s finally dropping on August 28th on everything – all consoles and even the new Nintendo Switch 2. They’re adding a bunch of cool stuff like new weapons and armor, but the best part? We can finally customize Torrent! It’s such a great addition that it makes me want to start a new game right away to get ready for the release. Honestly, I’m even willing to face the Blade of Miquella all over again if that’s what it takes!

15. EA Sports Madden NFL 27

We were excited about the new game even before EA explained how the Persona Engine will make each player feel distinct and individual on the field. Plus, the new Superstar GOAT progression system should keep players engaged for a long time. These are just some of the exciting features coming to the game when it launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 13, 2026.

16. The Blood of Dawnwalker

We’ve been incredibly excited about this game since it was announced, and the wait for its September 3rd release has felt both exciting and frustrating – especially with each new look at the gameplay! The latest trailer only made us more eager to play; seeing Coen and Brencis battle across time like true vampires confirmed that we’ll be playing as soon as possible.

17. Valheim 1.0 Release

We’re excited about the upcoming Deep North update, which also marks the official launch after its Early Access period! It will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 bringing fresh content to this engaging survival crafting game with a unique Norse mythology theme. Beyond the new snowy environments, players can expect new enemies, locations, and characters when it releases on September 9, 2026.

18. Marvel’s Wolverine

The recent State of Play showcased a fantastic look at the new Wolverine game. Insomniac has made some excellent design choices, particularly with their portrayal of Logan, and the addition of Jean Grey, alongside a high-stakes story, makes it very compelling. Wolverine feels like a fresh interpretation of the character, and the gameplay seems to skillfully integrate his powers. It will be released on September 15, 2026, and is a PlayStation 5 exclusive.

19.Trials In The Sky Second Chapter

We’ve been anticipating this release for some time, and while we don’t have a firm date yet, it’s likely to arrive in late September. The previous installment ended with a major cliffhanger, making this a very appealing title, even with so many other games coming out. We’re excited to see what it offers and are following its development closely.

20. Trine 6: Together in Time

Okay, so I just got a look at this new puzzle platformer, and it looks awesome! The world is super colorful and full of secrets, and the characters are really charming – they each have unique abilities that work great together. Best of all, you can play with up to three friends! We’ll be able to team up, use our combined powers, and really get into the combat system. It’s coming out on PC, PlayStation 5, Switch, the new Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S on September 17th, 2026, and I’m already marking my calendar!

21. Control Resonant

Remedy decided to expand on what players loved in the previous game by opening up the Federal Bureau of Control and placing its main character in a strangely altered Manhattan. Expect enemies that are both odd and dreamlike, and a more direct, engaging combat system. The game releases on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 24th.

22. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush

Inspired by the classic Hot Wheels toy line, this new arcade racer offers a fun, colorful take on high-speed racing. Forget realistic graphics – this game lets you create and race on the incredible track sets you always dreamed of! Plus, you can play with friends on any platform thanks to full cross-play. It’s launching on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24, 2026.

23. Silent Hill: Townfall

Although Simon Ordell’s experience in St. Amelia differs greatly from Hinako’s journey in Silent Hill f, it’s still a deeply unsettling game based on what we’ve seen so far. It features classic Silent Hill elements – terrifying creatures and a dark, atmospheric world – along with some exciting new additions that should appeal to players who enjoy a real scare. The game will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC on September 24th.

24. Valor Mortis

Playing as an undead soldier during the Napoleonic Wars immediately grabbed our attention, and everything we’ve seen suggests this first-person, Soulslike game will be a real challenge. It’s scheduled to release on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 24th.

25. Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Miyamoto Musashi returns in a new game featuring the powerful Oni Gauntlet, and it looks incredibly intense! The recent trailer showcasing the fight against Shuten-dōji caught our attention, but after playing the demo, we’re really excited to jump in when it releases. Fans can get their hands on it September 25th on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

26. Minecraft Dungeons II

We’re really excited about this new game! It features a fresh villain, two brand-new worlds to explore, and a deeper dive into The Nether. A recent trailer also showcased some impressive combat improvements, and there are plans for exciting downloadable content after the game launches on September 29th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

27. Phantom Blade Zero

We’re really excited about this game! After a short delay to refine some details, it’s launching on October 29th, and we believe it will be fantastic. The combat and movement look smooth, quick, and difficult – exactly what players want. The story also sounds very interesting, and we’re eager to play it when it releases on PlayStation 5 and PC.

28. Rayman Legends Retold

It’s fantastic to have Rayman back! This new installment features a beautiful, fully-3D art style that really makes its world pop. The story will feel familiar if you’ve played Rayman Legends, but this platformer is absolutely one to watch. It releases on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 1, 2026.

29. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve

Flying fighter jets is incredibly exciting, and this game takes that to the next level with powerful weapons and the chance to take down enemies in spectacular ways. It releases on October 2nd for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-ordering gets you some great bonus content.

30. Gears of War: E-Day

Fans have been waiting a long time for this! We’re excited to revisit the start of the war between humans and the Locusts with Marcus Fenix. While it won’t be available on PlayStation 5 at launch on October 6th, you can still play it on Xbox and PC. Plus, it’s included with Xbox Game Pass right from the start, and the trailer from the Xbox Games Showcase promises plenty of action.

31. Star Wars: Galactic Racer

Imagine relaxing by watching pod races in a distant galaxy! But don’t expect much downtime after seeing this game in action at Summer Game Fest 2026. It’s a high-stakes racing experience, both on and off the track, where you compete to become the champion of the Galactic Racing League. Get ready to race on October 6th – it’s coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

32. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

This action-adventure game is a side-scrolling Metroidvania where you play as a quick and agile character from the Belmont family, wielding their signature whip. You’ll battle Dracula’s forces throughout Paris, gaining strength and new abilities along the way. Exploration seems key to the gameplay, and it may also include RPG elements for character progression. It’s scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 15, 2026.

33. Grand Theft Auto 6

Everyone’s been eagerly anticipating this game – especially after its delay last year! When it finally launches, it’s expected to be the biggest topic in gaming. It’s such a major title that other developers have strategically avoided releasing similar games around the same time, which you might have already noticed. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions come out on November 19th, but there are currently no plans for a PC release.

34. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake

It’s great news that another popular Zelda game is getting remade! However, Nintendo hasn’t shared many specifics about how it will play or what improvements are being made to this Ocarina of Time remake. We don’t have a confirmed release date yet, though rumors suggest it might come out in November or December. The game will be available only on the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.

35. The Duskbloods

Since the release of Nightreign, FromSoftware has been secretly developing a new game exclusively for the Switch 2. It puts you in the role of the Bloodsworn, powerful warriors battling each other for a coveted prize called the First Blood. However, they’ll sometimes need to team up to overcome challenges. The game features over 12 playable characters, but a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

That covers everything for now. We have a busy schedule lined up for the rest of the year, and we’re really excited about all the fantastic games coming soon. We’re looking forward to more gaming, more fun, and creating lasting memories!
