Amazon Prime Video is releasing a highly anticipated horror film as part of its new TV and movie lineup between April 13th and 19th, 2026.
On April 21st, you can stream “The Conjuring: Last Rites” on Amazon Prime Video. This is the ninth film in the popular “Conjuring” series and tells the true story of the Smurl haunting. The movie follows paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren as they investigate a terrifying case in Pennsylvania, where a demon is manipulating three spirits to torment a family.
The movie received a variety of opinions from critics, but it proved to be a big hit with audiences. It earned $499.2 million despite costing only $55 million to make, making it the most successful film in the series so far. The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Rebecca Calder, and other talented actors.
Prime Video will also be the home of “Kevin” (2026), an animated series about a worried housecat named Kevin. After his owners split up, Kevin ends up at an animal rescue in Astoria, where a quirky group of animals try to help him find his way. The series boasts a star-studded voice cast including Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza, Aparna Nancherla, John Waters, Whoopi Goldberg, and Gil Ozeri, among others.
