Coronation Street will air a special episode focusing on the aftermath of Theo Silverton’s abusive behavior towards Todd Grimshaw.

This episode was filmed using hidden cameras and footage from police body cameras, capturing the aftermath of a domestic dispute unfolding on the street.

Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) discovers his son, Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), is having a secret rendezvous with Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) at a hotel.

Dee-Dee Bailey shares some news, while Abi and Carl Webster face some difficulties.

1. The police intervene after another Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton incident

Police rush to the street following reports of a disturbance at a home. The episode then reveals how Theo’s abusive behavior worsened, shown through footage from a hidden camera, security cameras, and police body cameras, all focusing on Todd’s perspective.

Is this the end of the road for Theo?

The following day, Todd tidied up the apartment while beginning to understand the extent of the trouble. Bernie, after witnessing the mess, confided in George that she suspected something else was going on.

He and Christina decide to visit the couple and offer Todd his old job back. He tries to appear unaffected when asked about their argument, but will the real story come to light?

2. Will Driscoll is caught in the act with Megan Walsh

Will confides in Bernie that he doesn’t have any friends in Weatherfield, so she asks Brody to try and become one. Megan cheers Will up by offering to train with him, and Daniel observes how taken with her he is.

Brody unexpectedly shows up and tags along to Will’s training, which really bothers him. Will gets even more annoyed when Brody suggests asking Megan on a date.

It’s Will’s birthday later this week. Ben and Eva act like they didn’t plan a celebration, which leads Will to go hang out with Megan instead.

They spent a secret afternoon together at the Chariot Square Hotel, completely oblivious to the elaborate surprise his family was planning for his sixteenth birthday.

When Will tells Megan how he feels, Maggie is puzzled by his lack of response to her calls. Meanwhile, Steve spots Ben’s son going into the hotel and rushes over, frantically knocking on the door.

Is his game up?

3. Dee-Dee Bailey is moving on – and brother James isn’t happy

Dee-Dee needs to tell Ed some exciting news: she’s starting a new job! Ed is thrilled for her and decides to celebrate by treating everyone to a meal at the bistro.

But when she reveals another surprising secret, the whole family is stunned. James is so shocked he doesn’t attend the event, which deeply upsets Dee-Dee.

4. Joanie Michaelis lashes out at Sally Metcalfe

Joanie and Shanice are caught red-handed trying to steal a bottle of Prosecco from the corner shop.

Seeing that the girls were upset, Sally and Tim decided to cheer them up with a special Christmas breakfast.

Things don’t go smoothly, though. When Joanie is forbidden from going to a party with an older girl, she gets incredibly upset. Right as Fiz, Hope, and Ruby show up, Joanie throws a fit, knocking over the Christmas tree and angrily telling Sally that no one can ever take her mother’s place.

5. Abi Webster notices something strange on Carl’s phone

James, after having too much to drink, sent a text to Carl that he immediately wished he hadn’t. He told Carl to simply disregard the message.

However, when Carl reveals that he’s lost his phone, the pair hope that Abi hasn’t seen it.

He found the device just in time, but Abi saw what he was doing before he could erase the evidence.
