4 Hollyoaks spoilers: Gemma Johnson convinces Warren Fox to intercept a robbery to save Mercedes McQueen

Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is facing a crisis in Hollyoaks this week. Her blackmailer has given her only one day to pay up.

Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) is considering a tempting proposal from Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) as he tries to find a way to help someone.

I’m really starting to worry about Ant Hutchinson – Brook Debio is doing a great job showing how troubled he is. And honestly, Donny Clark’s double life is just a constant headache! It keeps causing problems for everyone around him, and it’s fascinating (and frustrating!) to watch it all unfold.

1. Gemma Johnson meddles in Mercedes McQueen’s relationship with Warren Fox

Time is running out for Merce. She has only 24 hours to get the money and silence the person threatening to reveal the truth about who shot Tony.

Warren would do anything to keep her safe, and that includes reluctantly teaming up with Gemma. However, he doesn’t know Gemma is actually the one working against him and her.

Gemma suggests they team up to make money by interfering with a robbery. The plan is to stop the heist and steal the money for themselves, all to help Mercedes.

2. Ste Hay can’t resist temptation

Dillon and Rex attempt to get Ste to help with Lucas, who is becoming increasingly troubled. Rex is unaware that Dillon and Lucas are secretly dating, and he’s puzzled by a conversation he accidentally overhears.

Ste feels more inclined to push Rex away than ever before, and falls into Dillon’s arms again…

3. Ant Hutchinson’s behaviour is worsening

Despite knowing it was a bad idea, Diane returned Ant’s phone, and he immediately went back to the troubling online groups where he consumed hateful content about women.

So, I found out he’d ditched school, and my mom made me stay home to watch my little brother, Tony. It meant leaving Mercedes, my car, behind for the day, which was a total bummer, but what could I do?

4. Donny Clark’s past life is catching up with him

Okay, so Gemma’s really worried about interfering in her dad Donny’s new relationship, and she confides in Froggy. But things get awkward fast when Sully unexpectedly shows up at a family lunch. It creates a super tense situation, and poor Donny just freezes up and can’t respond when Misbah starts asking questions. It’s a really uncomfortable scene, honestly.

Frankie shared with Dodger that she’d received another worrying message and suspects Sully might be responsible.
