5 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Carla Connor ends her relationship with Lisa Swain

When Becky received a funeral wreath, Betsy became extremely worried. She immediately asked Costello for help, determined to find out who sent it and why.
At the police station, she photographed his daughter and sent the pictures to someone. He was deeply embarrassed and called her, not realizing Kit was overhearing the conversation just outside the office.
After finding out Lisa is having lunch with Carla, Becky comes up with a new scheme. She drinks alcohol and then calls her soon-to-be ex-wife, claiming she’s drinking to cope with losing everything.

Feeling sorry for her, Lisa helps her get back to No. 6 to sleep it off. When Carla returns home, she’s upset to find Becky coming down the stairs wearing Lisa’s bathrobe after a shower, and even more hurt that their plans had been cancelled.
Furious, she orders Becky out of the house.
The following day, Kit worried when Costello didn’t come to work. He soon found out Costello had been assaulted and thought Becky might have been involved, sharing his suspicion with Lisa.

Carla is heartbroken and decides to call time on their relationship, leaving Lisa stunned.
2. Carl Webster manipulates sister Debbie amid her dementia diagnosis

Carl kept playing along with Debbie, falsely marking an invoice from Preston’s Petals as paid and then mixing up his sister with Tracy. He assured the florist he would fix the mistake, explaining it was likely just an oversight by Debbie.
She’s incredibly angry, and Debbie is upset as she explains to Ronnie that she’s not feeling any better. Ronnie thinks she should stop working, but it’s unclear if Debbie will accept his advice.
The following day, Carl updated the accounting system’s password and let Ryan know he was now in charge of the company’s finances. Meanwhile, Debbie received confirmation that she would be speaking at an event held at the hotel.
3. Fiz Dobbs is caught red-handed lying to Tyrone

Since Tyrone’s accident, Fiz has been struggling to cope with all the financial and emotional burdens of supporting their family. Feeling completely drained, she tells Tyrone that Cilla needs surgery and she’ll be responsible for caring for her.
With no other avenues to explore, Ty assures her that he can manage and tells her to go.
Cassie then drives him to his physical therapy appointment. Meanwhile, Chesney shows up at the hotel with pizzas for Debbie’s choir rehearsal. He’s surprised to see Fiz at the front desk, realizing she wasn’t actually going to visit their mother.
4. Sarah Platt’s behaviour has devastating consequences for Todd Grimshaw

Theo tells Todd he hasn’t heard from Pete, but Sarah sees him secretly getting into Pete’s van. When Sarah confronts him, Theo admits he and Pete made a deal and he’s trying to plan a surprise for Todd.
Pete comparing Sarah to an attack dog makes her confront the men, but Todd notices and quickly leads her away. Theo isn’t happy about this.
Todd was upset with Theo for convincing him to sign up for a half marathon, but he was even more surprised when Theo gave him a full-length mirror, suggesting it would help him monitor his fitness progress.

James later brings over some workout equipment for Todd and eagerly demonstrates how to use it. Theo observes this, growing annoyed, and jokingly suggests James has a crush on Todd.
Todd assures him that it’s not true, but an enraged Theo grabs him and vents his anger.
5. Summer Spellman takes a turn for the worse while visiting Asha Alahan

Dev stays over at Steve’s, where they’ve turned Kevin’s living room into a pub. He tells Steve and Kevin that Asha has invited him to visit her at the mental health facility.
Asha told Dev she’s ready to return home, but she’s concerned her friends haven’t been supportive. Dev angrily confronted Summer, Nina, and Amy, blaming them for making Asha consider not coming back.

The next day, Nina and Amy came to see me. I was running really late, but the second I walked in, I just completely lost it – I grabbed the doorframe to steady myself and then everything went black. I totally passed out!
Will Summer be OK?
