5 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Tim Metcalfe intervenes when Will Driscoll attempts to leave Weatherfield for France

Ben was shocked to find £2,000 was missing from the safe. He confessed to Maggie and Eva that he’d left it unlocked after arguing with Sean. Little did they know, Will had already given the money to Megan, allowing them to flee to France.
Eva challenges Will, but he stays calm and claims he’s excited about beginning a new life in Scotland. As Ben, Eva, and Susie wave goodbye in Tim’s taxi, offering him a heartfelt send-off, they have no idea what he’s really planning.
However, problems soon arise. Will receives a message saying his train to Glasgow has been cancelled, and Tim becomes wary of Will’s eagerness to still go to the station. At the same time, Ollie also sees the cancellation and attempts to reach Will by phone.

When Ben got home, he discovered his son’s passport was gone and became very worried. He immediately asked Steve to get in touch with Tim and watch him carefully.
It was really moving when Tim finally told Will about what happened with Trisha, the shopkeeper. He shared that he now realizes he was actually being abused, and it felt like a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. It was brave of him to open up like that.
Will, feeling unsettled, changes his mind about leaving and decides to tell his family he’ll report Megan instead. Ben is happy about this, but Maggie can’t quite hide her worry.

At the police station, Lisa interviews Megan, but Megan strongly denies the claims Will made against her. However, with evidence like the missing money and their plan to leave town coming to light, Megan’s situation becomes more and more difficult.
Tim tries to cheer Will up by explaining how facing his issues with Tricia brought him peace. However, things get tense again when Ben gets a call from Melanie, leading Maggie to believe they need to talk things through properly.
Will the secret about Ben’s dad finally be revealed? Things come to a head in the Rovers after a difficult week, and Ben is overwhelmed with emotion.
2. Jodie Ramsey turns her attention towards Daniel Osbourne

David tells Jodie to leave, but she retaliates by making Shona question what happened in the bedroom. Feeling cornered, Jodie overhears Ken talking about Daniel’s claimed trip and immediately starts to make a plan.
Ken and Bertie call Daniel, assuming he’s having a good time in the Lake District, and he continues to act like everything is normal. Meanwhile, Jodie enters Daniel’s flat at the builder’s yard and unexpectedly finds him, explaining that she found a spare key.
He doesn’t believe her and tells her to leave. However, when she threatens to reveal his deception and confesses she’s in a difficult situation, he’s unsure what to do.

Jodie pretended to be friendly as she gathered her things from number 8, telling Shona she wasn’t upset. However, her final glance revealed her true feelings.
She told Daniel his pretend vacation was finished and encouraged him to let his family know he was back home.
Jodie doesn’t just stop at one act of interference; later in the week, she also subtly sabotages Cassie and secretly gives Bertie and Dorin treats, going behind Cassie’s back.
3. Sam Blakeman takes a turn for the worse

Sam is excited about seeing the meteor shower at Red Rec and invites Hope to come with him, but she declines. The situation becomes unsettling when Sam notices Will hiding nearby.
When Will goes after him by himself, he confronts Sam. Startled, Sam accidentally knocks over and breaks his telescope before running away.
I was so worried when I saw Sam – he was completely shaken up. It was good that Hope got him to talk, but then she started making fun of how much he cared about Will, and it was awful to see him fall apart because of it. Things just kept getting worse, with more threats coming in, and he seemed more and more distressed with each one. It was heartbreaking to watch him struggle.

He’s finding his upcoming maths exam really difficult, which worries Leanne, Nick, and Toyah, and they start talking about getting him some counselling. However, Sam overhears their conversation and jumps to the wrong conclusion, believing his family doubts him and that he has to cope with this alone.
Nick and Toyah told Roy what was bothering them, and he offered to help Sam. However, when Roy went to see Sam, he found him upset and looking at a tracking device he’d found hidden in his backpack.
Who is watching Sam?
4. Gary Windass is prime suspect in Theo Silverton’s murder case

At the police station, Kit and Lisa realize Gary’s explanation doesn’t make sense. They believe he’s likely responsible for Theo’s death. However, while at the Rovers pub, Lisa notices Todd staring at her, and she starts to suspect him instead.
Police descend on the builder’s yard, gathering potential evidence, including scaffolding poles.
Does Gary have anything to hide?

Summer shares that she’s been accepted to a university in the United States, and Todd encourages her to go and make a new start.
The case hit a dead end when they couldn’t recover deleted security camera footage from Gary’s computer, forcing Lisa and Kit to start their investigation over.
5. Sally Metcalfe urges husband Tim to confront his abuser

Even though Tim talked to Will, Sally worries he’s still avoiding dealing with his past. She brings this up with Steve while they’re at the cab office.
Tim was determined to find Trisha at her workplace. When he confronted her, he didn’t hesitate to tell her that her actions when he was fourteen constituted abuse, no matter how she saw it.
How will she respond?
