5 Emmerdale spoilers: Celia Daniels brainwashes Laurel Thomas as fury erupts with Moira Dingle

This month on Emmerdale, Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) pressures Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) to break up with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), becoming increasingly controlling.

He’s starting to doubt his connection with his ‘mother,’ first questioning whether he should do what she wants with Laurel, and then considering going against her and getting Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) medical attention.

Things are really heating up in the village! It looks like Celia isn’t just coming after Ray – I just heard that Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is about to be confronted about some of the things she’s been up to. Apparently, Celia knows about Moira’s past criminal activity and is planning to expose her. It’s going to be a messy situation, I can feel it!

Charity Dingle is facing more trouble, while Ruby Miligan is starting a new project.

1. Celia Daniels deals an ultimatum to Ray Walters concerning Laurel Thomas

Celia surprised Ray with some exciting news: she’s coming to dinner with him and Laurel. It quickly becomes clear she intends to show them up and act superior throughout the evening.

Honestly, it really worries me to see her son starting to care for someone else, because she’s convinced he’ll end up hurting her. It’s awful, but she’s trying to sabotage things by making him look like a total player and someone who just uses people.

Laurel is very upset by what was said and honestly shares how much it hurt her. He gets angry and quickly leaves, and Rhona sees this and becomes concerned.

When Ray got home, he realized Celia was upset about how close he’d become with another person, and he was shocked when she asked him to end that relationship.

2. Moira Dingle is wary of her new business partner

Moira found out that Celia had been falsely signing her name to bills for turkey orders, despite Celia previously deciding not to do so.

I was completely stunned watching Celia face off with the person who’d been deceiving her. It was incredible how quickly Celia smoothed things over and turned the accusations around! But Moira… she just lost it. She slapped Celia right then and there! Afterwards, though, you could see the worry creep in – she was clearly afraid of getting into trouble with the law for what she’d done.

Later, she’s determined to bring her shady business partner’s operation down.

3. Ruby Miligan kickstarts a new venture – and it backfires

Ruby, after having a bit too much to drink, impulsively decides to start a wine import business. Manpreet then comes up with a clever idea to deal with any leftover wine.

Selling alcohol is proving difficult, and Jai and Charity are upset that Ruby is competing with them without the proper permits. Charity then decides to team up with Ruby, making a deal to work together.

4. Vanessa Woodfield has suspicions about Charity Dingle

Sarah and Jacob ask Belle to plan a surprise gender reveal party. Meanwhile, after questioning from Vanessa, Charity implies that she and the baby’s father might not be the parents everyone thinks they are.

Charity quickly finds an excuse to miss the party when she receives the invitation, not realizing how important it actually is.

5. Bear Wolf suffers a serious injury in captivity

Bear hurt his arm, and Ray got worried. He didn’t want a repeat of what happened with Anya, so he decided Bear needed to go to the hospital for treatment.

However, there’s a problem: Celia strongly objects. Will he risk upsetting his mother by taking Bear to the vet?
