A busy week is ahead in EastEnders as Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) takes a turn for the worse.
Following a tense standoff where he trapped his family inside their house, a major fight broke out. His girlfriend, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), then tried to get him professional help.
Things get really intense for Priya when her son, Nugget, has another seizure. And then, unbelievably, she ends up driving into Max Branning and Cindy Beale – it was a total shock to watch! As a longtime viewer, I was on the edge of my seat.
Lauren Beale turns to Mark Fowler for help again, while Lexi Pearce starts behaving oddly. Everyone in Albert Square is worried to hear that Nigel Bates’s pneumonia is getting worse, and despite his aunt Sam’s disapproval, Mark decides to contact his father, Grant.
Here’s everything happening in EastEnders between Monday 20th and Thursday 23rd April.
6 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. Ravi Gulati’s mental health crisis worsens

Ravi is feeling increasingly powerless and believes he’s failing to protect his loved ones. He’s trying to hide his pain, but Priya has noticed he’s been hurting himself and is worried. She decides to take him to the hospital to get him the help he needs.
At McKlunky’s, things get heated when Nugget finds out Will Mitchell and his friends filmed and posted a video of him having a seizure. Feeling deeply embarrassed, Nugget runs off, and Ravi immediately starts looking for him.
When Ravi and his father finally meet again, Ravi is very upset and demands they go straight home. Once they’re back at their apartment, Ravi tries to calm down by suggesting they have a relaxing day – staying in, playing games, and watching movies.

However, it soon becomes clear to Priya that this is more than a simple bonding exercise.
While she secretly plans to leave, Ravi insists staying inside is the best way to stay safe. The situation gets worse when Nugget finds something that makes him directly challenge his father.
Ravi’s next announcement deeply upsets the family, causing Nugget to angrily confront his father with harsh words. Priya notices Ravi seems preoccupied and tries to leave unnoticed, but he stops her.

She quickly came up with a plan: they should leave Walford, telling everyone it was for their safety. But really, she wanted to get Ravi the help he was so clearly needing.
Okay, so things get really intense. Priya grabs the car, gets everyone inside, and starts driving to the hospital, but her plan immediately hits a snag when Ravi figures out something’s not right and questions her. Then, poor Nugget has another seizure, totally throwing Priya off, and she loses control of the car. It’s a disaster – they end up crashing right into Max and Cindy, who are on their way home from a nursery event with little Jimmy. It’s a chaotic moment, and honestly, a really scary one!

After everything went down, I heard Ravi just disappeared, heading back to Walford by himself. Priya didn’t give up though, she was right behind him, frantically looking for him. She finally found him up on that viaduct, and honestly, the scene was heartbreaking. They had a really intense conversation, and thankfully, Priya managed to get through to him. Ravi finally admitted he needed help and agreed to step away from the edge. It was a huge relief, honestly.
2. Max Branning and Cindy Beale grow closer

Max wastes no time ensuring Cindy and Jimmy are safely out of the wreckage following the crash.
Safe and sound after a close call, the two share a sweet moment before going to the hospital together, strengthening their connection. Could this be a sign she’s on her way to becoming Mrs. Branning?
3. Lauren Beale teams up with Mark Fowler again

Lauren’s attempt to get her car lot business off the ground gets a boost when Alfie Moon introduces her to someone selling affordable, classic cars that need fixing up. She arranges a deal with Phil Mitchell to do the repairs, but is then surprised when Mark offers to handle the work instead.
Her hopeful feelings don’t last long when the first car shows up, and it’s not the promising vehicle she’d imagined. After inspecting it, Mark sadly tells her that it’s unlikely they’ll make any money, but he promises to do his best to help her recover the costs.
4. Elaine Peacock and Ian Beale make amends

At the town council’s fancy event, Elaine Peacock feels awkward and overwhelmed while Ian Beale confidently chats with everyone.
After a strained disagreement with another guest, the two reached a shaky agreement and decided to move forward, letting go of their previous issues.
How long will the truce last?
5. Lexi Pearce is a cause for concern

After Lexi refuses to go to school, her family, the Mitchells, try to support her. Worried about her, Sam asks Phil for help, believing he can talk some sense into her.
As he steps in, the family uncover the real reason behind Lexi’s behaviour.
Is she worried about Nigel again?
6. Mark contacts Grant Mitchell as Nigel Bates’s health declines

Everyone is becoming increasingly concerned about Nigel after Sam tells Phil that his pneumonia has gotten much worse. When Sam and Mark hear the news, Mark thinks they should let Grant know.
Sam immediately rejects the idea, reminding Grant that he hasn’t responded to any of her messages. She sadly reflects on how distant the Mitchell family has become since Peggy passed away, acknowledging just how much they’ve grown apart.

Despite everything, Mark feels a bit hopeful. He thinks Nigel’s sickness might be what brings him and Grant back together, and on a whim, he calls Grant and asks him to come home.
When will Grant stage his comeback?
