7) Worked With Romulus

Okay, so everyone knows Wolverine has had some seriously tough enemies, but this movie really dives into a surprising piece of his past. It turns out there was a time when Wolverine and the villain Romulus weren’t enemies at all – they were actually working together. The film hints at a period before and during the Weapon X program where Logan willingly joined forces with Romulus. Apparently, Romulus was the reason Logan even volunteered for the program in the first place! We see flashbacks of them operating alongside Sabretooth and Romulus’s sister, Remus, carrying out some truly awful orders. It’s a fascinating twist that adds a whole new layer to their rivalry.

6) He Chose to Go Feral

Years of having bone claws led Wolverine down an unexpected path, and issue #91 of Wolverine (Vol. 2) revealed a shocking truth: the adamantium bonded to his skeleton was actually suppressing his mutant abilities, causing him to become more animalistic without it.
