Drama is about to escalate on Albert Square as Michelle Ryan reappears as Zoe Slater in EastEnders, causing more ripples.
In the forthcoming edition of TopMob magazine, this duo will not only be featured, but they’ll also reminisce about certain plot developments, such as Kat’s comeback at the Queen Vic.
Even though Zoe’s return might reawaken difficult recollections from Kat’s past, it’s notable that the well-known Slater character has once again taken on the role of landlady at the Queen Vic, marking the first time she’s been in charge since 2012.
In an interview for this week’s TopMob, Wallace discussed her character’s return to the Queen Vic, saying: “When I stood behind that bar, it felt like I was back home.
Since Barbara Windsor was rather petite, they elevated the stage to make it similar to a performance platform. The Vic serves as the main focus of the production. This new beginning for Kat and the Slaters brings about chaos right away.
To date, Kat has had a lot on her plate regarding family matters, including discovering that Alfie had deceived her about his location, which was part of an effort to locate Zoe.
Last week, I found myself back in Albert Square, and boy, was it a whirlwind! Upon my return from sunny Spain, I stumbled upon more than a few shockers – like discovering that Kat had gone ahead and bought The Queen Victoria pub, all with Stacey’s help! Talk about surprises! It seems the East End has been buzzing while I was away.
Alfie assumed incorrectly that Kat was aware he was looking for her daughter Zoe, and inadvertently left a message expressing his mistake. Unfortunately, before Kat could listen to it, someone stole her phone, leaving her unaware of the situation.
Yet, it’s clear that Zoe is poised for a grand comeback, and as whispers persist about her hidden mystery, speculation grows about how this secret might intersect with other EastEnders characters and what consequences this may hold for her mother Kat. So, we can only anticipate the unfolding events.
