Ariana Grande Sends Sweet Gift to 9-Year-Old Battling Cancer

Ariana Grande is adding a little sweetener to a young fan’s day.

9-year-old internet personality Brielle Bird, who bravely shares her fight against stage 4 cancer on social media platforms, excitedly displayed the touching presents that a star from the musical “Wicked” sent her – and her response is simply heartwarming.

In her latest Instagram video on August 7th, Brie shared that today’s package is exceptional, coming from the person she adores most – Ariana Grande. She’s thrilled to unwrap not one but two packages that Ariana sent her.

As per her character as the benevolent sorceress Ariana, aged 32, carefully selected items reminiscent of the musical Wicked for her thoughtful care package. Upon opening the box, Brielle was delighted to find a pink tumbler and six adorable Squishmallows – each representing characters from the story such as the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, Elphaba, the Wizard of Oz, Scarecrow, and fittingly, Glinda.

Brie remarked, as she clutched a green figurine, “That’s Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, but unlike her portrayal in the 2024 film ‘Wicked: For Good’, and its upcoming sequel. Cynthia Erivo brings her to life on screen. In the movie, she appears quite kind. As for the wizard, he’s far from intelligent. His plan to silence animals is absurd, and I find it preposterous.

Beyond her exciting surprise, Brie found more delightful additions in her package. These included a cuddly bunny plushie dressed as Glinda, a set of nail polish, a note from the Land of Oz, two makeup bags, a bottle of Ariana’s Cloud perfume, and various items from her singer’s r.e.m. beauty line.

But the most touching gift of them all? A personal video message from the Eternal Sunshine singer.

Hello Brie! It’s Ariana here. Your mom mentioned that you are a fan of Wicked and Glinda, so I put together this small gift package for you. I hope you enjoy it. My favorite part is the Squishmallows – they’re super cozy and adorable.

Later on, she praised Brie saying, “You’re the most incredible, most motivating ray of light in our entire cosmos.

She went on to say, ‘You’re truly amazing!’ She expressed her gratitude towards you, adding that you are just as you should be. Moreover, she showered you with a multitude of affectionate messages and countless virtual embraces.
