Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 2 Launches on June 30

On June 30, Capcom is set to release an update for Monster Hunter Wilds titled Update 2. This update brings in new monsters like Lagiacrus and Seregios, along with the challenging Arch-Tempered Uth Duna. Additionally, it introduces Layered Weapons and further features.

In Update 2 of Monster Hunter Wilds, both Lagiacrus and Seregios become 8★ Tempered monsters for hunters with HR41 or higher. From July 30 onwards, the Arch-tempered Uth Duna will make a special appearance as a time-limited Event Quest and a Free Challenge Quest. Successfully completing these quests rewards players with the new armor sets Uth Duna γ and Felyne Uth Duna γ.

Beginning with Title Update 2, crafting the top-tier weapons like Rarity 8 Arzhen and High-Rank Palico weapons will grant you access to those designs as Layered Armor. Additionally, you’ll find enhanced photo mode features such as adjustable brightness levels, filter effects, and the ability to conceal your Handler, Palico, Secret, and other elements in the Character Display tab. Furthermore, there are new support options, as biologist Erik can take over for Alma as the Avis unit’s handler, and Support Hunter Mina is joining from Vespae Unit. Title Update 2 also introduces the freedom to pick which Support Hunters you summon for your party.

From July 23 onwards, The Festival of Accord: Flamefete will grace the Grand Hub with fresh, time-limited decorations, meals, gear, gestures, and other exciting elements. Moreover, the Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster, a special creation by Fender to mark the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter, will debut in Monster Hunter Wilds on August 27. This in-game gesture can be acquired during a limited-time Event Quest.

To wrap things up, you can find “Monster Hunter Rampage” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers through Steam as of now. The third title update is set to drop in late September 2025.
