Brandon Blackstock’s Ex Honors “Best Daddy” Who Loved, Fought Hard

Brandon Blackstock’s loved ones are remembering him fondly.

After the talent manager passed away on August 7th, his former wife Melissa Ashworth Wells, parents of Savannah Blackstock, aged 23, and Seth Blackstock, aged 18, reminisced about their shared past. The couple were married from 1999 to 2012. In 2013, he got married to Kelly Clarkson, a union that ended in 2020.

In my own words, I’d say: “On August 8th, I proudly posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. It depicted my wonderful wedding day moments with Brandon, who embodied charisma, humor, and the quintessential gentleman – all while donning cowboy boots, Wrangler jeans, and a cowboy hat. Yet, he was more than his attire; he was an exceptional father and grandfather, beyond compare. He wore his love deeply and fought valiantly for it.

The continuation of his legacy is ensured through his children, among whom are his 11-year-old daughter River Rose and his 9-year-old son Remington “Remy” Alexander.

Melissa added, ‘What Brandon has given his children most importantly is their knowledge of where he now resides.’ It’s often said, ‘Nothing is truly lost when you know where it is,’ and in this case, Brandon is with Jesus, his Savior. Savannah, Seth, and our grandchildren are the embodiments of who Brandon and I have been as people.

For his son Seth, it was an honor to learn from dad.

Seth expressed on Instagram on August 8 how incredibly proud he is of you for raising him and your other three children. He posted photos of the two of you over the years, stating, ‘You were more than a father to me; you were also my brother, son, and best friend. Though I’ll now watch you grow from a bird’s eye view, it’s something I can accept.’

The teenager went on, ‘There’s nobody else on Earth I’d choose as my father, for no one could ever fill half the role you played in my life.’ He added, ‘I’ll see you with every sunrise and sunset.’

He said, ‘I’m eager to fish with you once more as my affection for you is immense. I love you, Dad.’ This means he wishes to spend time fishing with his father again and expresses strong feelings of love.

On the 7th of August, Brandon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, at his residence in Butte, Montana. This information was confirmed in a statement issued by his representative, who stated that he had been under hospice care at the time of his passing.

According to TopMob News, Dan Hollis, the coroner of Silver Bow County, stated that the individual’s demise was attributed to natural complications arising from melanoma.
