Starting from server maintenance on the 13th of November, you’ll no longer find PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) available for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This decision wasn’t taken lightly; it was made after thorough thought and careful consideration, with the goal of ensuring PUBG Console continues to grow and thrive in the long term.
Absolutely, using the same PlayStation Network account on a PlayStation 5 that you previously utilized on a PlayStation 4 will transfer your profile, purchases, and game progress. Notably, developers appear to be willing to issue refunds for those who can no longer play on PS5.
According to the blog post, the process for getting refunds on BATTLEGROUNDS Plus and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS will vary based on each platform’s specific refund policies and procedures. If you have additional questions or need further clarification, it’s recommended that you reach out to the customer support team of the platform where your purchase was made.
Following the update, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) on standard PlayStation 5 will operate at a frame rate of 60 per second with a resolution of 1440p. On the PlayStation 5 Pro, it will offer a 2160p resolution at the same 60 frames per second. – The game will be delisted from the PlayStation Store starting September 9th, 2021.
– Microtransaction purchases will cease on February 24th, 2022.
– After April 7th, 2026, all access to Genshin Impact on PS4 will be frozen.
