As an Xbox enthusiast, I find myself grappling with some troubles today. The Xbox service seems to be encountering a few hiccups.
On Twitter via the official Xbox Support account, they acknowledged experiencing problems related to sending and accepting Party invitations and messages.
Delving further into it, there appear to be five significant disruptions that seem connected to the Xbox server problem.
‘Players are currently experiencing difficulties in managing their active parties and using the Xbox Party Chat.’
Currently, gamers might encounter problems when sending or receiving game invitations, as reported by Xbox. To clarify, this means some players might struggle to send invites at present, and if they manage to do so, the recipient may experience difficulties accepting them or joining the game following acceptance.
The last two interruptions seem to have disrupted sending messages to other players as well as checking messages in your personal inbox, indicating both were impacted.
The problems we’re dealing with are affecting players not just on the current Xbox Series X/S consoles, but also on Xbox One, Xbox versions on personal computers, and even users on Xbox 360 or mobile devices like iOS and Android.
As per Xbox’s report, problems were identified at 9:30 am BST. At the moment, their team is currently investigating these issues.
I’m sorry to inform you, but it seems there’s no clear timeline yet for when the gaming services will be up and running again, so you might need to make other plans for now.
Gratefully, it appears that most Xbox services are functioning as expected, such as the Xbox Store, Xbox Game Pass, multiplayer matchmaking for games, and many more features.
To stay informed about the progress of the fixes, you can visit the Xbox Game Pass section on the Microsoft website as they frequently provide updates regarding the status of Xbox functionalities.
