Colton Underwood doesn’t have the fondest memories of his first time.

A former contestant on ‘The Bachelor’, who candidly discussed his virginity during season 23 of the ABC reality show, recalled his initial sexual experience using a concise summary consisting of only three words.

In an exclusive interview with TopMob News, Colton expressed feelings of confusion, embarrassment, and remorse, essentially revealing the complex and conflicted individual he was while in the closet.

Two years following his proposal to Cassie Randolph in 2019, the 33-year-old publicly revealed his sexual orientation as gay during a television interview. Subsequently, he married Jordan C. Brown in 2023 and their son, Bishop, was born via surrogate in September of the same year.

Currently, on the Hulu reality series titled “Are You My First?“, Colton is drawing upon his life as an unmarried individual under public scrutiny, seeking romance amidst a gathering of single individuals living in a tropical paradise.

He explained that his role on the show with Kaitlyn Bristowe from Bachelor Nation was not primarily to offer dating advice, but rather to emphasize that it’s a journey of personal growth. While the objective is indeed finding a life partner, individuals also gain significant self-knowledge throughout the process.

He added, “Many of these individuals may have initially viewed their virginity as a result of certain circumstances. However, after the experience, they gained a fresh perspective on the meaning of virginity for themselves, recognized factors that were preventing them, and identified their goals for the future.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d put it this way: In this unique setup, Colton assures us that the cast is provided a space where their past sexual experiences, or the absence of them, doesn’t dictate their acceptance or rejection in the show.

He noted that he felt a strong connection with them due to their bravery and vulnerability.
