As it was almost on par with the manga, the studio chose to resume production once enough chapters were out to produce fresh episodes. The first season of the anime lays the groundwork for the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, following the manga up until Chapter 270. The genuine clash against the Dark Triad will commence in the next season.
After spending six months honing their skills, Asta and the Magic Knights are ready for the impending fight against the Devil Hosts. In Manga’s Chapter 331, the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc comes to a close, but it remains uncertain if Season 2 will completely cover this arc.
