For quite some time, Tomo Sakurai has been a prominent figure in the realm of anime, lending her exceptional voice to numerous globally acclaimed anime series. Initially, Sakurai was scheduled to appear at the TOMO Summer 2025 Live event that’s due next year. Unfortunately, this event has been announced for cancellation. If you’re one of those individuals, kindly check your emails for the refund details.
Back in the day, I, a dedicated voice actress, found myself stepping away from the vibrant world of voice acting due to some issues with my vocal cords. In 2016, I shared my sentiments in this way: “I’ve come to realize that the voice that holds significant importance as an actor is becoming increasingly difficult for me to produce. As a voice actress, I can’t ignore these changes.”
Fast forward to 2019, and here I am, making a shocking comeback! I joined the cast of Pokemon Journeys, taking on the role of one of Ash Ketchum’s formidable opponents in his quest to become the world champion. It feels amazing to be back, and I can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead!
Our thoughts are with Tomoro Sakurai’s family and friends during this difficult time.
