There is a new WWE star in the making.
Naomi (whose real name is Trinity Fatu), a World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler, and her long-time spouse Jimmy Uso, another WWE star, are thrilled to announce that they are soon welcoming their first child into the world, after more than 10 years of marriage.
Jimmy shouted in a podcast clip of What’s Your Story aired during Monday Night Raw on Aug. 18, ‘Proceed with care as there’s a baby in transit.’ He was referring to their pregnancy.
As the crowd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia burst into applause, Jimmy (formerly known as Jonathan Fatu) excitedly exclaimed, “We’re absolutely expecting!
Naomi, for her part, still couldn’t believe the news herself.
Indeed, that’s correct,” she mentioned on the podcast. “It takes some getting used to, but here’s the news: I’m expecting and I’ll be welcoming a new addition to our family.
Following the pro wrestler being unable to receive medical clearance, an announcement was made about the relinquishment of her WWE Women’s World Championship title. Unfortunately, she couldn’t face off against Iyo Sky for a title defense on August 11.
Upon learning about her pregnancy, every fiber of my being was filled with joy as I watched the cameras at Monday Night Raw capture a tearful Naomi. The audience’s thunderous applause for her and Jimmy echoed the sheer excitement we all felt for their new arrival.
In simpler and more conversational terms, the sentence could be rephrased as: “Retired wrestler Adam Pearce, who was in the ring with Naomi during her pregnancy announcement, expressed joyfully to her, ‘Naomi, I think I can speak for everyone here tonight. We are all incredibly happy for you! Congratulations!’
In 2014, Naomi and Jimmy, who share parental responsibilities for their children Jaiden and Jayla from a previous union, exchanged vows, becoming a renowned couple in the world of WWE fans.
Certainly, the enthusiastic supporters couldn’t contain their joy upon learning about the couple’s positive news. As one user expressed on X, “We are truly excited to prolong the family saga for another 18 years.
However, Naomi herself confirmed that, although she must give up her most recent championship title because of her pregnancy, she has no intention of ending her wrestling career altogether.
Naomi remarked following her pregnancy announcement, ‘If I return with my baby nursing, it will just be a continuation of what I was doing before. Anyone holding the title then, please tread carefully.’

John Cena’s encounter with Shay Shariatzadeh in 2019 was purely serendipitous. As Cena shared on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in 2024, both were in places they rarely visited. Cena wanted to watch the Super Bowl at home to ensure his favorite team won, but was persuaded to go out. Shay, on the other hand, was in a part of town she seldom frequents due to some unexpected international guests. It was truly a coincidence that led to their meeting.
Cena mentioned that he and Shay felt an immediate attraction, but it wasn’t until they had deep, honest conversations about life that they realized they were meant for each other, leading them to marry in 2020. Cena described the connection as strong, stating, “After those conversations, I realized I just met my best friend. I love my best friend, and she rocks my world. So, this is what I came for.”
Prior to Shay, John was engaged to Nikki Garcia. Their relationship was documented on her and twin sister Brie Garcia’s shows Total Divas and Total Bellas. However, the couple split in 2018 after six years together, with differing views on starting a family serving as a significant point of contention.
Approximately a year following Nikki (also known as Nikki Bella) and John’s separation, she started dating Artem Chigvintsev, who was her dance partner on Dancing With the Stars in 2017. The Total Divas star and dancer welcomed their son Matteo in July 2020, and they married in Paris two years later. However, shortly after celebrating their second wedding anniversary, Artem was arrested for suspected domestic violence. Nikki then filed for divorce in September. Later that month, the Napa County District Attorney Office declared it would not file criminal charges against Artem related to his arrest after reviewing the investigation.
Nikki and Artem subsequently filed opposing restraining orders, each accusing the other of being the aggressor while denying the other’s claims. Yet in November 2024, they both withdrew the restraining orders and settled their divorce, with her representative stating that they wanted “to move on with their lives and effectively co-parent their son.”
Nevertheless, Nikki has since re-entered the dating scene. In a May 2025 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, she mentioned going on dates but was not quite ready for it yet, as she had put herself back out there.
In the world of wrestling, I found my soulmate – none other than Daniel Bryan (formerly known as Bryan Danielson). Our journey began on a professional level, intertwined within the storylines we crafted together. As our connection grew off-screen, it was only natural for us to transition from rivals in the ring to partners outside of it.
In 2014, we exchanged vows and embarked on a new chapter as husband and wife. Our love story unfolded further with the arrival of our beautiful daughter Birdie in May 2017, followed by the addition of our adorable son Buddy in August 2020. These two little ones have brought even more joy into our lives, which we’ve shared openly with fans through shows like TopMob’s Total Divas and Total Bellas.
From the very start, I knew that Daniel Bryan would be my lifelong teammate. As our relationship deepened, it became evident that he was not only an incredible partner but also someone who would make a fantastic father. His kindness shines brighter than any star, and he treats me like royalty.
Of course, every relationship has its ups and downs, but our ability to communicate openly like friends and avoid hurtful words helps us navigate through those challenging times with understanding and love. Despite any bumps in the road, I’m grateful for the wonderful partnership we share.
Encountering Lauren Hashian wasn’t originally part of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s plans. He was still in the process of divorcing producer Dany Garcia, and they share a daughter named Simone. However, destiny had other plans.
In an interview with WSJ. Magazine, Dwayne mentioned that upon meeting Lauren, who was an event planner at the time, at a party for his movie The Game Plan in 2007, he immediately thought, “Wow, this girl’s stunning.” At that point, both were going through their respective breakups. Interestingly, when one is not actively seeking something, the universe seems to take over.
The couple later grew their family, welcoming daughter Jasmine in December 2015 and her little sister Tiana in April 2018. They got married in Hawaii in August 2019. During her vows at their wedding, as captured in a video they shared for their first anniversary, Lauren said, “We’ve created two beautiful girls. You are the mate to my soul.
The WWE played cupid for Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Maryse Mizanin, as they first met at the 2006 WWE Diva Search competition. In an Instagram post from 2021, The Miz shared that it was love at first sight when he saw her enter the room. He admired not just her physical beauty but also her unique walk, captivating voice, and overall aura.
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and announced their pregnancy on-stage in 2017. Their first daughter, Monroe, was born in March 2018, followed by Madison in September 2019. The Miz and Maryse shared a glimpse of their family life through the reality TV show “Miz & Mrs,” which premiered in 2018.
Whether they are inside or outside the wrestling ring, the two continue to support each other, with Maryse expressing her admiration for The Miz on his birthday in October 2024 by writing: “You are the most loving, caring, and entertaining man I know! You bring so much fun and positive energy to our family.
The captivating tale of how Gail Kim and Robert Irvine became a couple is simply perfect. Their first encounter was at the wrestling event SummerSlam in 2009, where Robert was preparing dishes for his Food Network show, Dinner Impossible. On that day, Gail, being a wrestler, assisted him in making 20 appetizers named after wrestling moves. This is when they bonded and formed an unbreakable connection.
Three years later, in 2012, Robert, who has children Annalise and Talia from his previous relationship, married Gail. The key to their successful marriage, as Robert shared with People in 2023, lies in clear communication. As he put it, “If we don’t communicate, it breaks down like a business would. We over-communicate. And she’s the better communicator, believe me or not.”
Remarkably, Robert mentioned that they rarely argue. In his words, “We’re very blessed. We both have great jobs and a wonderful marriage.
The tale of how musician Ryan Cabrera and wrestler Alexa Bliss crossed paths in 2020 was a bit of a mix-up, as their meet-cute was more like a misconception. According to Alexa, who shared the story on “The Bellas Podcast” that year, they initially connected due to a rumor that they were dating. A fan noticed Ryan liking some of her tweets and started an Instagram post spreading the false relationship news, even tagging everyone in their professional circle.
However, the athlete and singer hadn’t yet met at that point. As Alexa recounted, Miz, who is friends with Ryan, contacted him about the rumor, to which he responded, “What’s an Alexa Bliss? I don’t know what that means.” He then learned she was a colleague and started chatting with her through phone calls. They initially just became friends, but their bond grew over time.
Ryan later invited Alexa to one of his concerts in Orlando, where she attended the show but declined dinner and drinks afterward. Despite this initial rejection, Ryan continued pursuing friendship with Alexa, who eventually described him as “very patient and persistent.” Their friendship evolved into a beautiful relationship, with Ryan being incredibly sweet and dedicated to her happiness.
Alexa and Ryan tied the knot in April 2022, and they welcomed their daughter Hendrix at the end of the following year.
After the two-year relationship between Stacy Keibler and George Clooney ended in 2013, she and her current husband, Jared Pobre, publicly confirmed their romance on Instagram. In an interview with Fit Pregnancy in 2019, Keibler stated that she felt completely ready and there was no one else she wanted to embark on this journey with. She described the moment as a sort of revelation. The couple tied the knot in 2014. Interestingly, before they met, both Keibler and Pobre had told their parents they didn’t think they would ever get married or have children. However, when you find the right person, everything changes. Their lives changed dramatically when they expanded from a couple to a family of five, welcoming daughter Ava in 2014, son Bodhi in 2018, and daughter Isabella in 2020. Today, Stacy Keibler and Jared Pobre are still happily married, as evidenced by Pobre’s Instagram post in April 2023, where he expressed his surprise at one day being married to a WWE Hall of Fame legend!
