
Nightdive Studios has unveiled a revamped version of the 1997-launched first-person shooter from LucasArts, titled Outlaws + Handful of Missions: Remastered. This enhanced edition is set to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Humble Store) on November 20th.

The creators behind the Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster are bringing back the original 1997 western first-person shooter game, Outlaws!
Prepare to journey back to the unruly Wild West, teaming up with the seasoned ex-Marshal, James Anderson. Together, you’ll encounter a diverse array of characters – from noble sheriffs to ruthless bandits, all living on the line drawn by the mighty Mississippi River. As part of your mission to expose a devious scheme driven by greed and corruption, you’ll be equipped with essential firearms: a trustworthy .45 Revolver, a scoped .44 Rifle, a powerful 10-Gauge Shotgun, and a versatile Sawed-Off 12-Gauge Shotgun. These weapons will ensure that you’re well-armed to tackle any outlaw troublemakers you may encounter along the way.
The game titled “Outlaws + Handful of Missions” boasts high-quality, uncompressed cinematics and enhanced visuals for weapons, characters, and enemies. These have been meticulously recreated from archived art, maintaining the original style while incorporating vibrant color palettes. Additionally, this game supports cross-platform multiplayer, offering various modes like Deathmatch, Team Play, Capture the Flag, and a unique one called “Kill The Fool With The Chicken!
