For approximately two decades, the Delta Force series has been absent from PlayStation consoles. However, recently, developers at Team Jade have revealed the official launch date for their free-to-play revival of the shooter franchise.
The simply titled Delta Force launches on PS5 on 19th August 2025.
The game offers a free-to-play tactical shooting experience, with both multiplayer options and a reimagined campaign inspired by Black Hawk Down.
In simpler terms, warfare offers a 32 versus 32 player combat scenario that includes ground, water, and air vehicles. On top of this, Operations provides an extraction mode and objective-focused Raid mode for additional gameplay options.

Since its initial release on both PC and mobile platforms, it has consistently received significant updates and enhancements, ensuring that it will likely be well-established when it becomes available on the PlayStation 5.
Despite varying opinions about it on Steam, the game maintains a consistently large number of players, suggesting that those who enjoy it are continuing to play.
In July, we’ll be hosting a closed beta test for our console. More details about it will be shared as we get closer to that date.
