PRAGMATA details hacking gameplay

Capcom recently shared updates and visuals about the game titled “PRAGMATA,” revealing details on its hacking mechanics.

Get the details below.

On their quest to flee from the lunar research station, Hugh and Diana encounter numerous obstacles. Among these adversaries are the Walkers, a type of robot developed by Delphi Corporation, based on their successful M4 series. These robots, known for their human-like form and ability to collaborate with humans, were frequently chosen for support roles. In the lunar setting, the advanced M4AM model can effectively handle low-gravity and vacuum-like conditions.

A formidable adversary players will encounter is the SectorGuard, a robust bot hailing from Delphi’s military manufacturing division’s S-35 product line. This massive mechanical being was designed primarily for securing vital or classified facilities. Equipped with weaponry on its spherical arms, it uses guided weapons and low-gravity ballistics to attack. To overcome this challenge, players can employ Hugh’s thrusters to dodge attacks while Diana targets and disables the SectorGuard’s defenses through hacking.

In the battle against SectorGuard, players may stumble upon a fresh Hacking skill named Overdrive Protocol. As this skill’s meter builds up, Diana can concurrently hack surrounding adversaries, breaching their armor and momentarily stopping their advance. Although it’s potent, it should be used judiciously at the opportune time!

Players have the chance to boost Diana’s hacking skills by gathering environmental Hacking Stations, which can be utilized in battle. Once you move through them within the Hacking Matrix, these temporary items momentarily weaken opponents’ defenses. These Hacking Stations introduce an additional dimension of intricacy to the game’s distinctive combat system and create more chances for strategic decisions during intense battles. One such station, called Decode Station, weakens enemies’ defenses for a certain period. Keep an eye out for further updates on how the gaming experience will advance!

PRAGMATA is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2026.
