Lily James joins pal Billie Piper as Holly Willoughby lets her hair down as they lead the celebrities at day one of Glastonbury Festival

At the start of the Glastonbury Festival, Lily James teamed up with friend Billie Piper, while Holly Willoughby relaxed her hairstyle, as they all guided the celebrity attendees on the first day.

As a devoted admirer, I ambled through the vibrant expanse of Worthy Farm, adorned in my Barbour attire, as the enchanting festival commenced on Friday.

She was elegantly stylish once more, donning a sleek light-grey Barbour quilted coat, complemented by a sporty bra and white drawstring shorts, along with black Barbour rain boots.

Lily was accompanied by her pal, Billie (age 42), best known for her role in Doctor Who. She too donned rubber boots and wore a stylish dark green Barbour wax jacket featuring a corduroy collar, along with black cargo pants.

In addition, TV host Holly, aged 44, was spotted making appearances around town as well. She’s known for being a frequent attendee of this buzzing music event and arrived by helicopter directly from London’s heliport.

Following her descent from the helicopter, Holly promptly initiated the three-day spectacle in Somerset, as she leisurely explored the estate accompanied by a companion.

For the excursion, she wore a chic, effortless look with a white mini dress featuring a lace overlay from Free People – priced at £158.

The woman with three children accessorized her bohemian-stylish dress with a coordinating cardigan featuring ruffled sleeves, and she stayed cozy in a set of brown pull-on Grenson boots.

Holly carried her necessities in a bag resembling suede, adorned with fringe, and trailed a sizable suitcase behind her while preparing for the festive excitement.

Previously on “This Morning”, the host finished off her outfit with a matching set of black sunglasses and a spacious brown sunhat.

With an infectious cheerfulness, she beamed widely upon joining the vast throng en route to Glastonbury, numbering in the hundreds of thousands.

2025’s Glastonbury event promises another dazzling lineup featuring Rod Stewart, Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young, The 1975, Nile Rodgers, and Noah Kahan taking the stage.

At Glastonbury, Lewis Capaldi performed an unexpected show following the release of his latest hit single titled “Survive.

The strong debut track is the initial release from the Scottish singer after a two-year break in his career, which was caused by his struggle with Tourette’s syndrome.

Lewis’s fresh composition aligned with his grand comeback performance at Glastonbury, marking a return to the stage two years following an emotional breakdown during the same festival.

After an emotionally charged performance at Worthy Farm in June 2023, the 28-year-old artist decided to take a break to prioritize his mental wellbeing and adapt to the implications of his recent Tourette’s Syndrome diagnosis.

Earlier this month, The Mail on Sunday disclosed that Lewis would be stepping back into the limelight, scheduled for a show at this year’s festival during the secret slot on the Pyramid Stage following Alanis Morissette’s performance.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: The renowned Scottish artist is rumored to be dropping a new single soon! This will mark his first release since “Strangers” and “A Cure For Minds Unwell,” which he shared in January of last year. Interestingly, this upcoming single seems timed perfectly with his performance at Glastonbury. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us!

Two years back at Glastonbury, Lewis had just returned from a 3-week break for rest and rejuvenation regarding his mental health.

Stepping back onto the stage once more, I confessed that I was filled with a profound fear – almost to the point of being terrified – before each performance, as I shared my personal experiences with mental health challenges and living with Tourette’s syndrome.

The neurological issue is marked by uncontrollable sounds and bodily actions known as tics, which may lead to speech or vocal irregularities.

During his performance, Lewis admitted that he was finding it difficult due to his Tourette’s syndrome, and mentioned that his voice had given out after persistent coughing during the act.

Instead, Yet, his devoted followers gathered in support, culminating in a touching finale where they joyfully sang his popular song “Someone You Love” with great enthusiasm.

Lewis, visibly moved, departed from the stage, expressing his feelings by saying: ‘Glastonbury, I’m genuinely sorry. I’m a tad frustrated with myself.’

Later on, he shared that he plans to ‘step away for an extended period’ since it seemed necessary for him to focus more on improving his mental and physical well-being.

The music star, originally scheduled for a global tour, revealed that he required more time to adapt to the effects of having Tourette’s syndrome, stating it was the hardest decision he has ever had to make.

In April 2023, Lewis shared his battles with the condition in a documentary titled “How I’m Feeling Now,” which aired two months prior to his collapse at Glastonbury.

This year, Holly shared some past experiences from her time at Glastonbury, including a memorable night when she had to clean a toilet at the festival.

In February, I had the pleasure of recounting an unforgettable bathroom cleaning mishap during my appearance on The Graham Norton Show, alongside the legendary Sir Elton John.

After seeing Elton John’s headlining act at Glastonbury 2024, she discovered herself waiting in the well-known, lengthy lines for the portable restrooms at the festival.

When she finally entered a cubicle, she was met with a grim sight.

Holly expressed that she was present and thoroughly enjoying herself. You, Elton, were simply phenomenal. Despite everyone expecting greatness from you, the truth is, it was as if we were all under a magical spell.

Everyone seemed to be singing harmoniously, giving the impression that the entire crowd was a single entity, a sight I had never before encountered.

She commented: ‘Elton John was the best part, but once he finished, people flocked towards the restrooms. The restrooms became a mess afterwards – it was horrible, but when nature calls, you have to answer.’

I found myself in an awkward situation – perched on what is typically a seat for sitting – when suddenly I realized, “Oh dear, if anyone enters now, they might mistakenly assume I was the one who was here. I can’t just leave it like this.

I usually carry a pack of wet wipes, so I thoroughly cleaned the bathroom until it sparkled. It was impeccable. However, my mood came crashing down after meeting Elton.
