The latest title from PixelJunk, “Dreams of Another,” has released a new trailer, with the focus this time on its game director, Baiyon. In this trailer (which you can view below), the creators of the game discuss their approach to developing the unique sounds and music for the upcoming release.
Additionally, we’ll get a peek at fresh gameplay and narrative aspects of “Dreams of Another”. The distinctive title offers intriguing graphics and gameplay, where players construct a novel universe using their gun. The arsenal at the player’s disposal varies from assault rifles to mighty RPGs.
In this unique game, instead of destroying objects with shots like in typical shooting games, your shots actually shape and form the environment around you as you play, explained Baiyon at its launch. This innovative mechanic provides a gaming experience that breaks away from conventional norms within the genre and invites players to explore a fresh, new dimension.
During their journey with Dreams of Another, players can expect to delve into unusual realms, encounter various characters, and live through their personal narratives. The game is scheduled for launch on October 10, available on both PC and PS5 platforms. Excitingly, the PS5 edition of the game will be compatible with PlayStation VR2 technology as well.
