According to the BBC’s announcement, fans of “The Traitors” will soon get to see the first season featuring celebrities on television.
The sensational global entertainment series, headlined by Claudia Winkleman for its UK version, has become a regular fixture on the BBC’s annual lineup, causing quite a stir worldwide.
It appears that a celebrity-focused spin-off show, as opposed to the regular civilians, is soon to debut, and while autumn was the earlier announcement, now we have the precise month revealed.
At the Edinburgh TV Festival 2025, Syeda Irtizaali, temporarily serving as the BBC’s Director of Unscripted, announced that the show will debut in October 2025.
Irtizaali expressed, “Initially, I had concerns about how they might handle the situation differently from regular people, but there’s no need for concern now.

She teased: “Some of the things you’ll see them doing are extraordinary.”
The cast for the celebrity spin-off has been officially announced as Stephen Fry (an actor), Mark Bonnar (also an actor), Lucy Beaumont (a comedian), Niko Omilana (a content creator), Nick Mohammed (a comedian), Tameka Empson (from EastEnders), Paloma Faith (a singer), Tom Daley (an Olympian), and Ruth Codd (another actor).
Completing the ensemble are vocalist Cat Burns, humorist Alan Carr, fellow vocalist Charlotte Church, actress Celia Imrie, broadcasting personality Clare Balding, historian David Olusoga, former England rugby player Joe Marler, comedian Joe Wilkinson, media presenter Kate Garraway, and TV host Jonathan Ross.
Or simply:
In addition to the main cast, we have singer Cat Burns, comedian Alan Carr, singer Charlotte Church, actress Celia Imrie, broadcaster Clare Balding, historian David Olusoga, former England rugby player Joe Marler, comedian Joe Wilkinson, broadcaster Kate Garraway, and TV presenter Jonathan Ross joining the lineup.
In simple terms, it has been verified by the BBC that the primary series of “Traitors” is set to come back for a fourth season in early 2026, probably maintaining its customary winter schedule.
