All Creatures Great and Small season 6 first-look images finally unveiled as Coronation Street stars joins cast

As the highly anticipated sixth season of All Creatures Great and Small approaches, here are some exclusive sneak peeks of the cast. Once more, Nicholas Ralph plays James, Rachel Shenton portrays Helen, Samuel West assumes the role of Siegfried, Callum Woodhouse is Tristan, and Anna Madeley depicts Mrs. Hall.

Although there will be many more heartwarming stories about people and animals, things will not return to the way they were before.

As a movie aficionado, I find myself immersed in a fresh tale starring our cherished Skeldale crew, who find themselves in an unexpected predicament. The story unfolds in 1945, with the backdrop of Europe‘s war drawing to its final breath.

Stepping once again into the charming town of Darrowby, I find myself captivated by the strides made in veterinary care, the expansion of beloved families, and the warm welcome of fresh faces. As the sun sets over this picturesque village, there’s an undeniable sense of hope and serenity as they all eagerly gaze towards a brighter and more tranquil future together.

As a devoted movie enthusiast, let me share an exciting update: In the upcoming six episodes, I’ll be sharing the screen with the renowned Patricia Hodge, portraying Mrs. Pumphrey and her beloved pet Pekingese Tricki. Joining us as well is Tony Pitts, stepping into the shoes of Helen’s father Richard, and Imogen Clawson, playing my younger sister Jenny. In this new world we find ourselves, we’ll all be navigating a whirlwind of opportunities, meeting an array of animals big and small, and, oh yes, each other! It promises to be quite the adventure!

The quartet – Mollie Winnard, Conor Deane, Cat Simmons, and Lamin Touray – will join as recurring guests for the show.

Furthermore, just like customary, there will be several new featured actors joining the cast. Among them is Lucy-Jo Hudson, best known for her roles in Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, and Wild at Heart.

In the given image, you can notice Susan’s character appearing quite concerned or startled as she stands alongside Siegfried.

Also joining the cast are actors like Gaia Wise, known for The Dead of Winter and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, Jonathan Hyde famous for The Brutalist and Titanic, Philip Martin Brown recognized for Waterloo Road and Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy, and Chris Gascoyne, familiar to some from Coronation Street in addition to other roles such as The Feud and Patience.

Discussing Helen’s anticipated development in Season 6 back in December, Shenton mentioned that “now, Helen has grown into a mature adult, forming a young family with James and Jimmy.

It would be wonderful to see him around a bit more, as James has only recently returned from his absence due to the war during this season.

In other words, Ralph stated, “Absolutely, it’s due to the gap in time, spending the initial four months apart from little Jimmy, that I look forward to rebuilding our family, our bond, our unity, our team, and spending more quality time together.

“Because we’ve missed that, the characters have missed that.”

The series is set to carry on past Season 6, featuring another holiday special. However, whether “All Creatures” will persist beyond 2025 remains undecided as of now.
