In just a few days, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be released, and we strongly recommend that you give it a try, regardless of whether you’re a long-time fan or a new player.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got some exciting news! This game we’re all playing has been showered with praise by critics, which means it’s off to a flying start. If it continues to perform exceptionally well, it seems like publisher Konami is more than ready to consider diving back into other remake projects. Now that’s something to look forward to!
To Game Informer, producers Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado mentioned their intention to explore numerous other game ideas if Delta turns out to be a success.
We’re continuously brainstorming ideas for the Metal Gear series, but when it comes to remaking upcoming games, our primary focus at the moment is on the present. We’ve been pondering the ideal approach to captivate not only our long-time fans but also attract new ones as well.
Currently, our primary goal is ensuring that the latest release, Delta, is presented optimally for today’s players. Post-launch, if fans express a desire for additional content, we will enthusiastically explore creating more games down the line. For now, let’s focus on the task at hand.
It appears that Konami may consider developing more games from their existing catalog if this remake proves successful.
As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a meticulous remake of the cherished PS2 gem. It boasts state-of-the-art visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 5, and while it subtly enhances gameplay mechanics, it preserves the original control scheme for those who prefer the classic experience. Furthermore, this masterpiece will introduce a fresh multiplayer mode after its launch, adding a new dimension to the gaming experience.
However, all dialogue is identical to the original, as are the way cutscenes play out.
As a dedicated fan, I could effortlessly envision Konami refurbishing Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and perhaps even Metal Gear Solid 1, albeit the latter might necessitate more significant alterations.
Would you like to see more remakes from Konami in this vein? Tell us in the comments section below.
