Gwen Stefani Shares Rare Photos of Son Zuma on His 17th Birthday

Gwen Stefani is celebrating her son’s simple melodic kind of life. 

On the occasion of his seventeenth birthday, the singer known for “Sweet Escape” posted an uncommon picture featuring her and ex-spouse Gavin Rossdale along with their son Zuma. This image suggested that young Zuma is embarking on a path similar to his parents in music.

Beyond the initial affection, the “Rich Girl” actress additionally shared a video of Zuma crooning Zach Bryan’s melody, “Dawns,” along with an old picture of him grinning with his guitar as a young boy. She also reminisced about their most cherished mother-son instances, such as traveling on an airplane together and donning identical black sunglasses.

Despite Gwen, mother of Kingston (age 19) and Apollo (age 11), having backed her son’s aspirations for quite some time, she’s recently found a new admirer – her husband Blake Shelton (49 years old). In fact, she posted a heartwarming picture showing Blake connecting with Zuma before inviting the teenager to perform on stage.

On his fifteenth birthday, Gwen once again commemorated the occasion by posting a heartfelt Instagram message in honor of her son’s birthday celebration.

“Happy 15th birthday Zuma !!!” Gwen wrote in August 2023. “We love u more than anything.”

When not creating musical memories as the Stefani-Shelton family, they can often be found supporting their beloved football team. In fact, last November they extended an invitation to Zuma and Kingston to attend the Arizona Cardinals’ playoff game against the New York Jets. Notably, everyone in the group donned their finest red Cardinals apparel for the occasion.

However, their unique family relationship didn’t stop there. A month following their excursion, Gwen disclosed that the “God’s Country” actor had been gifted a cherished family heirloom by her.

At the ranch, there was an old truck that once belonged to Blake’s father. The singer shared this on The Jennifer Hudson Show, explaining that his dad had since passed away, but the truck remained, damaged and without a dashboard. For years, Zuma had been asking for it, and last year, he finally received the truck. Blake restored it by putting in a new dashboard, and they named the truck Dorothy, after Blake’s mother.

Gwen Stefani received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Oct. 19, 2023. 

The No Doubt frontwoman was joined by her husband Blake Shelton for the occasion.

Gwen’s trio of sons – Kingston (aged 17), Zuma (15), and Apollo (9) – whom she has with her former partner Gavin Rossdale, were all present as well.

The “Just a Girl” was honored by fellow The Voice judge Reba McEntire.

The family was all-smiles as they helped Gwen unveil her star.

At the induction event, Blake reminisced warmly about the initial encounter with Gwen when they both worked together on the show The Voice.

The famous country musician remembered driving herself to work in a black minivan equipped with car seats. Accompanying her were a baby and two small boys, which, at the time, functioned somewhat like security due to the commotion-it was quite chaotic. It was evident to me that she identified primarily as a mother above all else in the world.

Zuma and Apollo sat front row in the crowd as they celebrated their mom’s career milestone.
