This is the project that actor Daniel Day Lewis emerged from his 2017 retirement to create, but what’s intriguing is that he co-wrote it with his son Ronan, who is making his directorial debut in a full-length feature film for the first time.
ANEMONE explores the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons.
This film, alongside Day-Lewis, features stars such as Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley, and Safia Oakley-Green. It’s released during the season where notable award contenders emerge at festivals. Notably, Lewis is an exceptional actor with three Oscars under his belt, which raises the question – could this be his fourth?
