I, a dedicated follower, am expressing my thoughts on the remarks made by Lauren Manzo following her podcast conversation with Lexi Ioannou, Dina Manzo’s daughter. (or simply: In response to Lauren Manzo’s comments after her podcast chat with Lexi Ioannou, I share my perspective as a dedicated follower.)
Gia stated on her “Casual Chaos” podcast on Thursday, June 27th: “As for my response to what her cousins had to say about it, they didn’t really offer anything new from what Lexi said. Essentially, they repeated the same story that Lexi did, but attempted to present themselves in a more favorable light.
29-year-old Lexi made an appearance on “Casual Chaos” recently, discussing how the arrest of Tommy Manzo, who happens to be her cousin Caroline’s stepfather (the brother of Albert Manzo, Caroline’s husband), has affected her ties with the entire Manzo family. This includes Caroline’s children, Lauren, Albie, and Christopher, in particular. (Just so you know, Albert is Dina’s sister Caroline’s husband.)
Gia added on Thursday, “Nothing extraordinary or surprising was shared by them. I believe we can all concur that Lexi is expressing genuine feelings, without deception, and providing a complete account of the situation. In essence, Lexi feels disappointed, and she has every right to her perspective.
Lexi stated that Tommy had an unusual fixation on her while he was married to her mom, Dina, who is currently 53 years old. They tied the knot in 2007 when Lexi was just six years old. After four years of separation, they divorced in 2016. Since then, Dina has been with her current husband David Cantin, whom she married in 2017.
In my own words, during an episode of “Casual Chaos,” I shared that Tommy had kept my belongings for approximately ten years following his separation from Dina. After Tommy was incarcerated in 2024 due to being involved with the Lucchese Crime Family and sentenced to 84 months for hiring and aiding an assault, I reached out to my cousin Lauren for assistance in retrieving my items.
Lexi stated that she believed he had held onto her belongings for all those years. Therefore, she wished to retrieve them,” Lexi explained. “It was challenging for me to reach out and seek assistance, but I found myself in a dire situation. All I desired was to reclaim those items.
Lauren addressed Lexi’s claims in multiple TikTok videos days after Gia’s podcast went live.
According to Lauren, she didn’t want to discuss her family’s conflicts on social media, but she faced criticism following the podcast episode. As Lauren explains, she tried to pick up Lexi’s belongings from Tommy’s house, but encountered a lot of resistance which led to some family relationships deteriorating – a move she still believes was necessary. Despite being upset about how things unfolded, she remains firm in her decision.
Lauren expressed, “I find myself frequently reflecting on the incident where we were denied entry, and it grieves me deeply that she believes we failed her.
