Kelley Mack‘s loved ones are coming together.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share a touching tribute about a beloved ‘Walking Dead’ star who passed away three weeks ago after bravely battling a rare type of cancer. Her dear sister has recently disclosed how our family intends to celebrate and remember the extraordinary life she lived.
Kathryn Klebenow shared on her Instagram post dated August 23, an invitation for friends and coworkers to attend a “Celebration of Life” event in Los Angeles, which is scheduled for September 7.
The funeral will occur three weeks following a memorial service that took place in her home state of Ohio on August 16, as stated by the official announcement of Kelley’s passing on August 4.
The actress who played Addy in the ninth season of AMC’s series was diagnosed with a type of brain cancer called glioma. At the age of 33, she peacefully passed away, surrounded by her mother Kristen Klebenow and her aunt Karen Klebenow.
The announcement reflected on the actress’ dedication in her personal and professional life.
The statement from Kelley’s family reveals that she was admired for her kindness, imagination, and constant encouragement towards those around her. She valued spending time with her loved ones and relished moments of collaboration and narrative sharing. Her contagious excitement and commitment to her work ignited inspiration in many within the industry and beyond.
Kelley’s impact on film and TV will continue to be felt, and she’ll remain cherished by those who knew and adored her. Her absence will be greatly felt, yet she’ll forever be remembered for her remarkable talent, warmth, and lively essence.
After Kelley passed away, her sister paid homage by saying she was a vibrant, passionate beacon of light who has moved on to a place where we ultimately find ourselves.
Kathryn mused in her August 5th Instagram post, “Kelley has often appeared to those dear to her as different butterflies. Her absence will leave a void that no words can fully capture, deeply felt by many.
She emphasized that you should all understand how deeply she cherishes each one of you. Moreover, as her sister, she wishes for you all to realize how incredibly courageous she was, particularly when she chose to reunite with the divine. I can’t help but feel an immense sense of pride for her.
