North West is following in her dad’s footsteps. 

12-year-old North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (also known as Ye), unexpectedly joined her father’s music on the track “Lonely Roads,” a collaboration with Christian Combs, which dropped on June 27, by delivering a few raps.

As a dedicated follower, I find myself resonating with the lyrics of the revised tune, a successor to the sneak peek Ye and King unveiled in March titled “Lonely Roads Still Lead to Sunshine.” In this song, North expresses her sense of being on the correct path as she chases her dreams.

However, just because her journey has been successful doesn’t exclude the fact that she’s faced challenges along the way. Apart from North, another well-known figure has shown that they inherited talent for running tracks from their predecessors. In his song “Lonely Roads,” King (age 27) acknowledges his father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is featured in a phone call recording on the intro of the track’s preview version.

Previously this year, Ye (also known as Kanye West) claimed that Kim Kardashian had tried to prevent North from participating on certain tracks. He posted a screenshot of a text conversation on X, which allegedly showed Kim stating she “submitted the necessary paperwork so North wouldn’t feature in the Diddy song, to shield her.

As a lifestyle expert, let me share a recent situation that caught my attention. In this instance, I found myself expressing displeasure about an update, to which I reportedly responded, “Make the necessary changes or we’re heading for a conflict. This public backlash might be too severe for both parties to bounce back from.” I added, in a more dramatic tone, “It seems you’ll have to eliminate my influence to move forward.

Kim’s rep did not respond to TopMob News’ request for comment at the time.
