Although he’s been a founding member of the X-Men, his screen time has been limited, appearing merely in The Last Stand and Apocalypse, portrayed by Ben Foster and Ben Hardy consecutively. This suggests that there are still untapped aspects of Angel’s past and character development that remain unexplored on the silver screen.

In a subsequent interview, Ben Hardy hinted at a potential return to the role of Angel.
Maybe it could be me, or someone else, but either way, I’m eager to take on this project since I’ve done extensive research on that character and am excited to bring it to life on screen. However, I’m currently waiting for a call, so if you could help generate some buzz, it would at least give me the chance to be considered, please.
Have you picked up on it, Kevin Feige? The plans regarding MCU’s X-Men film remain a complete enigma, making this an opportune moment for Hardy to reach out to Marvel’s decision-makers. If the studio intends to introduce the original comic book team, they would likely need an actor to embody the winged hero.
Previously mentioned, several original cast members from the X-Men series will reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday. Specifically, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Kelsey Grammer, and Rebecca Romijn are coming back. While it’s not yet clear how they’ll fit into the plot, long-time fans are excited about this casting announcement.
