Freddie Flintoff’s “Field of Dreams” returns for a third season, as the BBC announces the air dates for this popular sports program.
The BAFTA-nominated and RTS award-winning show features Flintoff embarking on a fresh endeavor, aiming to expand his undertaking throughout the northwestern region of England.
Viewers can catch all the action this Sunday, September 7th at 8:10 pm on BBC One and iPlayer. If you find yourself eager for more after the initial episode airs, the entire series is being made available on iPlayer as a bonus, meaning all episodes will be accessible at once.
Throughout the series, the cricketer aims to establish teams for both boys – one each in Manchester and Liverpool – and for the very first time, a team for girls in Blackpool. Accompanying him will be Kyle Hogg, a former Lancashire spinner, and Kate Cross, an international player for England Women’s cricket team.
Clare Sillery, the chief of BBC Documentaries, commented on the series renewal: “Freddie Flintoff truly excels as a role model.
It’s amazing to observe the enthusiasm and dedication to cricket displayed by him, and the positive impact it’s making in the lives of the boys from Preston on his team. I’m thrilled that he’s returning for another series, continuing the achievements of the previous one.
In the most recent account of “Field of Dreams,” Flintoff delves deeper into the details surrounding the 2022 car accident that resulted in profound, life-altering injuries for him.
In the opening episode of the fresh season, a teen queries Freddie about the difficulty he encountered when departing from his home following the accident.
I recalled, about 18 months back, that the situation felt distinctly unique compared to my previous bouts with depression.
I wasn’t sure I had the strength to keep going for a while. It wasn’t that I was considering suicide or anything like that; it was just that I didn’t know if I had the strength, and that took some time.
Freddie Flintoff’s “Field of Dreams: Ultimate Test” debuts this Sunday, 7th September at 8:10pm on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer. If you’re eager to catch up, you can already stream seasons 1 and 2 on BBC iPlayer.
