Between 14:18 and 14:36 UTC+8, the crypto giant hit the snooze button, leaving traders staring at their screens like 😱. No futures trades? In this economy? Groundbreaking. 🤑

Of course, it didn’t take long for the crypto sleuths to notice. “Hey Binance, you good?” they tweeted, probably while sipping their third coffee. And lo and behold, Binance finally chimed in, all casual-like: “Oopsie! Futures UM trading is taking a breather. We’re on it, folks. 🚀”

In true corporate speak, they tweeted: “We’re aware of an issue affecting Futures UM trading on Binance. All futures trading is temporarily unavailable. Our team is working to resolve this as soon as possible.” Translation: “We broke it, but we’ll fix it. Maybe. 🤷‍♀️”

Let’s not forget, Binance isn’t just any exchange-it’s the Beyoncé of crypto, with billions in daily trading volume, $187 billion in assets, and 280 million users. So when it sneezes, the crypto world catches a cold. Or in this case, a nap. 😴

Apparently, only Futures (specifically the Unified Margin product) took the hit. Spot trading and perpetuals were like, “We’re fine, thanks for asking.” So, you know, small mercy. 🙏
