After the recent disclosure of the game’s details over the weekend, the developers of Hollow Knight: Silksong, Team Cherry, have officially announced the indie game’s price and release dates, which are set for September 4th. The game will retail at $19.99 or €19.99, and it will become available at 7am Pacific Time, 10am Eastern Time, 3pm British Summer Time, and 4pm Central Standard Time.
Priced at just $15, the original Hollow Knight game offers more than 50 hours of exceptional Metroidvania gameplay and is often recognized as one of the top gaming bargains, alongside The Orange Box. If its sequel, Silksong, can maintain this level of quality and playtime, it seems likely that it will also be a standout deal for both PS5 and PS4 platforms.
Commencing on September 4th next week, GameStop, an American retailer, has listed Hollow Knight: Silksong with a price of $19.99 on their product page. However, Billbil-Kun, a trusted leaker, suggests in a report on Dealabs that this is likely the game’s actual price, based on extensive research they have conducted into the matter.
They suggest the pricing for the game, at least on PC, is as follows:

The source alleges that these prices are specific to the PC version, but since console and PC versions usually have comparable costs, it’s likely that you’ll find similar pricing on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 as well.
