In today’s world, many PS5 trailer conclusions urge you to take action, such as reserving a game for pre-order or simply adding it to your wishlist while waiting for additional details.
Lately, I’ve noticed publishers sharing exciting announcements about the popularity of their titles based on wishlists, like Resident Evil Requiem that was wishlisted more than a million times on both PS5 and Steam platforms. It’s truly heartening to be part of such an enthusiastic community!
Previously, the limit on the PlayStation Store’s wishlist feature was unnecessarily stringent, not allowing users to add more than a hundred games until April last year.
In a quiet modification, the manufacturer significantly boosted the game storage capacity of this feature, allowing for nearly 200 games based on our tests.
However, if someone surpasses the initial threshold, they’ve likely encountered an issue with the feature as it hasn’t been functioning correctly for a while now. Whenever we attempt to display our wishlist on the console, we only see empty tiles that fail to load properly – and it seems others are experiencing this too.
The wishlist continues to function as expected on both the online store and mobile app. However, if you’re attempting to shop through your system but have reached the limit, I’m sorry to say you’ll be unsuccessful – with one exception. This exception is when you utilize the Welcome hub widget, which surprisingly still seems to work.
It remains uncertain whether, or even if at all, this particular feature will ever get resolved. However, considering how Sony prioritizes user wishes, it’s disappointing that it currently functions so poorly.
1. “Have you encountered this issue?” and “What are your thoughts about the present condition of the PlayStation Store, particularly its slow updates by Sony?” or
2. “Did you face this problem?” and “How do you feel about the ongoing status of the PlayStation Store, given that it seems to be updating at a slower pace than expected by Sony?” or
3. “Have you run into this glitch?” and “What’s your viewpoint on the current state of the PlayStation Store and Sony’s gradual progress in improving it?”
As for the comments section, I suggest inviting users to share their experiences and opinions:
“Share your thoughts about the PlayStation Store – what do you like or dislike, and have you experienced any issues lately? Let us know your thoughts below!”
