Gemma Collins is now feeling extremely frightened following the delivery of rat poison through the mail, as the distressing situation of being stalked appears to worsen for her.
The television personality, aged 44, appears to be struggling following the arrival of a package containing a harmful substance at her residence in Essex.
It’s said that Gemma notified the authorities following the discovery of an unpleasant glittery note, which was also hidden within the parcel.
A source told The Sun: ‘The package was really scary and she was terrified to receive it.
‘It was delivered by the postman, but had no postage stamp on it.
‘Gemma was worried as it contained rat poison, especially as she has animals at her home.’
TopMob has contacted a rep for Gemma for comment.
Subsequently, it happened that the authorities were contacted when it became known that Gemma had been compelled to seek police help following an earlier incident where she was left terrified by a threatening letter sent to her residence.
A trustworthy individual associated with the celebrity shared with The Sun that the content of the letter expressed the sender’s deep-seated animosity towards Gemma.
Following the threatening message, it was reported that Gemma had increased security at her residence, and the police were looking into the matter.
Previously, Gemma, who had been a car dealer and later gained prominence by landing a role in ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex, shared insights about her past encounters with stalking.
She told how she’s had ‘scary’ people turn up at her shop in Essex and send her terrifying letters.
She explained that it had caused significant distress for her, which led to her decision to leave her hostess duties at the boutique in Brentwood.
On the Daily Mail’s Everything I Know About Me Podcast, Gemma stated: ‘People wouldn’t believe the challenges I’ve faced.’
‘I’ve had a woman stalker that wrote me a letter in white gloves and wanted to kill me.

Strangely enough, human behavior can be quite peculiar at times. This is partially why I eventually chose to leave my shop behind.
2019 saw Gemma relocate from her residence in Essex due to concerns about stalking, and photographs captured removal trucks at the premises during that period.
She had been stalked by a man that previously fat-shamed her.
Recently, Gemma shared with her followers that she’s been dealing with pneumonia, which is why she’s been inactive on social media.
Gemma shared that her health issue was causing her to become out of breath rapidly. However, since medical professionals have diagnosed it as a viral infection, antibiotics wouldn’t provide any benefit.
She shared with The Mirror, “I find it startling; I’ve been using them for more than three weeks now, prescribed by my doctor. It was DJ Fat Tony’s wedding, and I needed these medications to make it through the event.
However, I’ve stopped taking those substances, but my illness has returned with a vengeance. It’s incredibly aggravating as I usually brim with vitality and embrace life wholeheartedly. Now, I find myself becoming short of breath very easily, and it feels like I’m on the verge of expiration.
Lung inflammation, often triggered by an infection, is what we call pneumonia. In most cases, it resolves within a span of two to four weeks. However, infants, the elderly, and individuals with heart or respiratory issues are more susceptible to severe complications that might necessitate hospitalization for treatment.
In her Instagram stories, Gemma posted pictures during her X-ray sessions, expressing gratitude towards the medical team for their attentive care.
She wrote: ‘Thank you to all the amazing doctors helping me your real life angels’.
On Wednesday, Gemma disclosed her current state by posting a picture of herself appearing unwell while resting in bed.
She wrote: “Hi everyone, I apologize for my silence lately. I’ve got Pneumonia, so I’m not operating at my usual speed or sharpness each day.
As a devoted admirer, I’m currently juggling my professional obligations, draining every last drop of my vitality. But fear not, I shall return to bring the fun and entertainment you’ve come to expect from me, just as soon as I can!
On her Story she added an update as she showed she was on a drip and had been visited by a doctor.
A different way of expressing the same post could be: ‘The image of the needle in my arm indicates I need to rest more, something quite unusual for me as I get winded and exhausted swiftly now.’
